What did you think about Richard's analysis of the Prince Harry ITV interview?

Never accused the Royal family of being racist........but accepted an award for calling out racism in the Royal family. Tom should have picked him up on that.

What's most baffling is that harry cant accept that perhaps people dont see Meghan the way he does. No one is allowed to dislike her and anyone that does is suffering from unconscious bias. No harry. She comes across as arrogant and full of herself. Has nothing to do with her race.

The worse thing is that he’s invading the privacy of so many family members

He’s upset because he didn’t like his fathers choice of spouse, but he’s upset because they don’t like his choice of spouse!

I think he is beyond redemption. He wants his brother and father falling over him with apologies when he is the one who has deeply betrayed them but no word of his own apologies. He really is a bitter man.

Harry said he loves his country but in the Oprah interview he said he doesn’t like England and was glad to leave. Which is it Harry?

I’m sorry but that man child doesn’t move me at all. He had so much love and help in the last 26 or 27 years since the loss of his mother. I feel nothing for him but disgust. Apparently nothing is helping him . He’s a nobody, crying for the spotlight. He looks like hate filled human being, who would want to be around someone like that.

This gentlemen is very easy to listen to. He does not use emotive language. Very knowledgeable.

I could listen to Richard Eden forever. He’s so articulate, informative, and insightful. There are no evocative words used to offend anyone which is so rare. It’s always a pleasure to hear what he has to say

The confusing part for me, an American who listened to the Oprah interview, was that he says they never called the monarchy racist. If they did not, then why accept an award for calling out the monarchy for structural racism? And they did - it was implied by Meeeghans facial expressions and in the words she said. Also, they both had plenty of time to correct it and never did.

I have always been impressed by Prince William. Now I am even more impressed by his intuition and judgment because of the things Prince Harry is saying about William's initial judgments of Meghan. I think William was spot on and not stereotypes. Megan was, is, and will always be a suspicious red flag woman based on her behavior . Full stop.

Realistically, how can anyone in Harry's family ever again have a serious/private conversation with him knowing that he has, *without their permission* and (I think it can be assumed) against their wishes, publicly shared so many of their previous private conversations and encounters?

I love the way Harry starts by reminding us AGAIN, that he lost his mum, just so we remember that, because of his loss, he's NOT to be held accountable for his actions.

Harry is bullying his family. In this interview he denies calling them rascist then complains they stayed silent through press attacks..well if they weren't rascist and you stayed silent then you are complicit also.

The simple fact is, William and Catherine saw right through the actress. There are so many incidents where you can see Meghan had been unpleasant. William protected his wife against this gutter snipe. Sadly Harry cannot see what an awful person she is. It does not say much about him, he has bad people around him quite clearly. I do not think anyone can do anything and he will eventually implode!

Richard’s analysis is concise, excellent and, more importantly, balanced. Richard never disappoints.

Harry said to Tom Bradby in the recent interview, that he barely remembers his childhood from before his mother’s tragic accident. “I mentally just wiped all those memories out, probably as a defence mechanism.” he said. Could it possibly be that Harry, who immediately upon waking, had just received the most devastating news of his young life, might simply just not recall whether his father hugged him or not? He is making his father out to be a cold fish, which he isn’t, judging by all the photos of him being affectionate with both his sons. But I suppose to a young Harry, in comparison to his overly affectionate mother, he might deduce that. After all, he was still creeping into his mother’s bed in the early hours of the mornings for cuddles when he was twelve. So he might well have felt deprived of hugs following his mothers demise. But Charles wasn’t as demonstrative as Diana and it is unfair and unreasonable of the now adult Harry to blame him for that. She had suffered a cold and unloving childhood when her mother left the family home and sadly lost custody of her four children. Charles had spent his formative childhood years at boarding school. According to Harry himself, up to the age of 12, he remembers little to nothing of his childhood from all the years before that age. Just from the age of 12 or 13 to present day. So where is he getting all his information from? The media perhaps? It can’t be from family or friends because he has always said he refused to talk about his mother with anyone. It was too painful and he didn’t see the point. Because of his refusal to face up to the fact of his mother’s death, his brother William suggested he should seek therapy. If that is the case and he can’t remember hardly anything of his mother, how then can he say his wife is just like her, if he still can’t bring his mother to mind?

Race had nothing to do with it. It’s her bossy, rude, pushy, aggressive attitude, and they saw through her from the start. His own friends didn’t like her. She was bullying the staff. She bullied 3 year old Charlotte. He just refused to see the truth. Everyone who had no idea who she was were happy for them both until the REAL Meghan came out.

Harry thinking that Camilla was desperate for the crown is ironic at best. Meghan wins that “competition” hands down, but he can’t see that 🤔

The damage is being done by Meghan, not by his mother's death. She has isolated him from his family, friends and country; fed him drugs to keep him compliant; gaslighted him so often that he no longer knows what is true and what isn't; played on his paranoia and insecurities; and channelled Diana (even wearing Diana's favourite perfume on her first date with him) as the clincher, to make sure she has all the power, rendering him a snivelling man-baby, who thinks he's feeling like this because he's still missing his mother and his family didn't show him enough sympathy 25 years ago. Almost everyone's allowing themselves to be distracted by Harry's book and interviews from what Meghan's really up to. She took over writing the book (the ghost writer quit) to ensure that it would provide damning evidence for the impending divorce, by showing, through all his lies and tales of drug-taking and paranoia, that Harry is an unfit husband (and father, if the kids exist). The Palace hugely underestimated Meghan's threat to the monarchy from the start, and continues to hold off neutralising her, presumably because they worry that this might make Harry worse. But he's going to get worse anyway. Charles should now act as King, not as a father, and do everything necessary to protect his family, the monarchy, the country and the Commonwealth from this evil trollop.

My father never hugged me either. I grew up and stopped being the “child”. I changed his behavior when I changed mine. He became a hugger when I went from acting like the child and started acting like an adult. Harry never changed from acting like a child. He still does. His attempted actions to act like an adult has become so toxic that he lost everything that he really wanted. Whoever was his therapist is an idiot.

William was standing up for his staff from bulling Meghan. One thing is clear from Harry’s aggressive one sided dialogue; he and Meghan are dangerously jealous of William & Kate. In fact, also a very upset with KC and Camilla. Harry tried to link Camilla gaining positive press by planting stories (against him and Meghan?) yet,the timeline was way before Harry met Meghan, and we were all told publicly, that Camilla was hoping to improve her image prior to her and Charles marriage, years before Meghan. Harry seemed to want to link and blur this timeline to include meghans bad press as if Camilla was planting stories against her. All lies. The only people manipulating the press is h& M .

And it IS entirely OK to not like everyone…it’s impossible to LIKE everyone we meet…it’s intuition…perception

I've seen photos of Catherine giggling with Harry's former gf's Chelsea & Cressida and I don't believe her to be a phoney so it makes sense to me that not only a majority dislike Meghan but so does Catherine & being a biracial American actress has nothing to do with it.

It was very sad to hear about how Harry felt when his mother passed I lost my mum at 14 and sympathize with him greatly. But, when he talks about the leaks through the media, I have a hard time believing him. Why would his family ever want to hurt Harry and Meghan when they had so much invested in them as working Royals? I honestly don't think Meghan was cut out for Royal life and poor William had the terrible task of letting him know the truth about how she was treating staff. Peace to all. 🙏

I think Richard gave the best analysis of the very awkward situation of all I heard and read. Harry is not intelligent by far. So it's really appalling how much time, attention and importance the media gives to what he thinks or says, considering they knew all along how simple Harry is. Richard shows very clearly, and politely, how self-obsessed and selfish Harry is, and how much unaware of the events and people around him, appallingly so when it comes to his family. Richard is a treasure.

This all went wrong when Meghan appeared on the scene! Make of that what you will.

The only thing I got from the interview is Harry's loose relationship with the truth. As far as Harry is concerned he can't let the truth get in the way of a good story which he has embellished with dramatic licence, eg Kate's reaction to Meghan at the afternoon tea and Camilla's desperation for the crown. If Harry hoped these interviews would put his image on a better footing, he has made a disastrous mistake as he and his wife are the ones who have come off worse than ever. I don't see how the RF can make an form of reconciliation with these two. He has not accepted any responsibility for his actions. Harry does not understand the concept of privacy and personal responsibility. I don't blame the RF at all for keeping him at a distance.

Harry can't really swear allegiances after everything he's said and done.

Harry was always one of the most loved members so if Camilla and Charles were leaking stories to the press about him, it certainly wasn’t working 🤣😂. Nothing he ever says makes sense, it’s so sad.

The leak about Camillas meeting with William happened, because her private secretary told her husband about it. Her husband told a friend... and the friend leaked it to the press. The secretary lost her job because of this.

No decent person would consider being so cruel and nasty to their family by broadcasting their insinuations and bitter opinions, on tv and books. I think its appalling behaviour. Harry being encouraged and feted by tv channels. He's just rattling off those comments with not a living soul able to agree or disagree. Richard in his usual fashion can always be relied upon to conduct himself in quiet and subdued tones. Unlike the ridiculous prince who, once upon a time would never have behaved in this way.

Maybe, just maybe she’s just not a likeable person behind closed doors. Sometimes people don’t get along with their sister in laws etc. is it possible that she may not be the nicest, most genuine person in reality?
