Excellent to hear those tales but sad how fast David was taken from us. Thanks for making and sharing this film Steve - gives a real insight into the magic of B&O.

Yes it was a shame that David passed away so suddenly. It was an honour to be able to meet Torsten and to hear about his time working with David.

This was so inspirational! Thorsten seems like such a humble, calm and passionate person. I could continue listening to him for many more videos so I’m looking forward to the studio tour. He did create the Level in more recent years, didn’t he? I’d love for him to explain how he feels about today’s B&O creations and what he owns himself. This was to me your best video yet! Thank you for making it Steve!

That was extremely interesting thank you. I love good design in general and I was interested in how Torsten talked about the product defining itself in a way. I think this approach explains why B & O products seem so naturally right, they are really at ease with themselves as designs.

Thanks so much, Steve! I love the description at [9:25] of Torsten's preconceptions about CD players being broken by the 9000. It's funny to say but that happened to me only this year - I had never seen any 9000 before until a few months ago, and I only knew of the plain ones from the 90's! I don't collect CDs anymore but it really helped me to appreciate how the B&O designers think outside the box.

Thank you Steve for posting. I for one still keeps and uses David Lewis designed B&O at home. From time to time I stare at his minimalist industrial design.
