We interact with atoms all the time, but we still know so little about them. Their existence has been a mystery since the very beginning. Let me take you on a journey to explore what these tiny building blocks really are.

A good summary of our current understanding of our universe as it stands today. Of course, the more questions answered, the more are created - but it's in (some) of our natures to never stop asking, answering and tackling the next set of questions! Good job with the script and graphics.

I don't understand why nobody seems to be able to see this. "Once Nothing Knew it was there................" That's it really. It has to do with self consciousness. The collapse of the particle/wave duality.

Is it consistent with the laws of nature that 10 quadrillion vigintillion particles could physically inhabit a microscopic space, and then instead of collapsing, would explode?
@rclrd1
@rclrd1 6 ай бұрын
There's no "explosion" - that's a misunderstanding arising from the ill-considered terminology "Big Bang" which is just a way of thinking about the observation that the universe is "expanding" and must have been "smaller" earlier. Expanding _relative to what?_ Smaller _relative to what?_

Let me put forward a thought. We are swimming in space and space is part of everything, us and the whole world around us. Space is everything in the universe but seems different from our observed universe. Space is really only takes different forms.

What do you mean by "space is everything in the universe but seems different from our observed universe?
@bsmith577
@bsmith577 5 ай бұрын
What I said is space is the most consequential thing in the universe. It embodies everything around us including ourselves. Space is part of everything. Look at any solid and in actuality it is mainly space and the universe is the reaction between the two sources of space.

This comment section is unbelievable. Such a shame that a lot of them are disregarding all the information explained in this documentary just to say "no lol it was god!!!". This documentary deserves better than that. I hope this channel does get a bigger influx of people actually interested in science.

E=MC2 (squared) Energy and matter are interchangeable. The equation works both ways. A tiny amount of matter contains a tremendous amount of energy, and sufficient amounts of energy (the big bang) can create matter.

@@charlesbaldo Our human brains find it impossible to see anything backwards in time past Day 1. Just as you said, what happened before "already" which in this case would be Day 0? Or Day -1? We understand infinity going forward forever, but we can't explain infinity going backwards in time forever because to us everything has a starting point.
