Giacomo Casanova (1725-1798) lived life by his own rules and had many relationships. Over 120 he said! In this video I'll go through some of the ones he described in his memoirs as well as see how he might have looked in real life by transforming his portraits using Photoshop. At the end I tell how he fathered his own grandson with his lover Donna Lucrezia and their daughter.

I have read a few books about him and there are theories that his “memoirs” were just stories he made up, including all his conquests. He was known to be full of sh*t whether it was his magic skills that he used to dupe people out of money or his fake law degree that he said he had. So either way, he was a horrible person.

Disney wants to change the ending of the fairy tales they've made with in the last 100 years . Trying not to be racist and ignoring the issue does bot make it " correct" .

@@giovannamoro8564 I'm sure that shocking the public with his legendary prowess was a big part of it (and in that he was successful), but in order to write it, you do have to dream it up. All books are the fantasies of their authors, especially when you are claiming that it is a true story about yourself. This was the story that he wanted people to remember him for -- being a child rapist and impregnating his daughter. While his intention was to shock and impress, it was still intended to make people see him as a rakish rogue of a man that we should be impressed by, and those were the stories he thought would do it. Either they were his fantasies for his life that he thought would impress the readers of his era, or he had a very low expectation of what would impress the public, and in either case, he was right.

@@terintiaflavius3349 That proves nothing. He was Italian. Italians can be olive-skinned with dark hair and eyes, blonde and blue-eyed, or anything in between. As the center of the civilized western world in ancient times, Rome was a land of immigrants. Later, Nordic invaders infiltrated the north, North Africans filtered into the south of Italy. Moors of noble background who had fought for Italian military were highly regarded citizens. Freedmen were craftsmen and professionals. Status was not determined by skin tone, but by wealth & influence, gained by business acumen, ambition, and sheer cunning. The Medicis and Borgias, once mere merchants, married into royal families and rose to the office of pope. The Italians invented upward mobility. It wasn’t about color.

However, I wouldn't be surprised if it involved a combination of misogyny and overcompensating for feelings of powerlessness.
