I already loved her from her shorts but watching this, oh gosh she's great. As others said, I appreciate her mentioning that bigger sizes are hard to find at the thrift, even more so good quality plus size pieces. I also agree with her prioritizing fabric when thrifting. Anything slightly wonky, big, small (sometimes), long can be fixed and altered. Crappy fabric can't and you will likely NOT wear it.

When she said, “I won’t take anything in a size 14 from people need it,” I instantly loved her forever.

for someone who’s lived such a privileged lifestyle, you’d think she’d be stuck up and always trying to “put on” but I find her so refreshing and down to earth. Makes me dislike all the other instagram famous models for acting snobby when Maddie is gorgeous and has a personality too.

I love that I found you. Girl, I live in a small, Texas town. I love it but I made sure since age 13 that I was going to stand out. And I fucking went with it. I started shopping at a vintage (really it's just local granny and granpappy clothes that were donated) I'm 35 now and I will willingly die and be buried in this beautiful town. I am the funk in this teeny, tiny piece of Earth. After learning to sew in Home Education class in 8th grade I did it UP! And I NEVER STOPPED!!!

I love love loooove the fact that your conscious about other people needing thrift-stores! That's what I really don't like about other thrift-content creators - they don't realize that there are people actually dependant on thrift stores and they just pluck and pluck anything their eyes land on, leaving nothing of quality or something that looks nice(or has potential) for people who actually can't afford to shop any where else.
