Maroons and moors are two diff people the moors was arabised west Africans although it wasn’t an exclusive term for west Africans as moors where Arabs and west Africans adahu the moor was the one who told the Portuguese who captured him where they could get many more slaves in exchange for his freedom thus the transatlantic slave trade. Maroons are west Africans who escaped slavery into the mountains of Jamaica ie accompong which has a sister town in Ghana for example.

@aumrashiva4731 3 жыл бұрын
@@choptdup blessings for the info, still my angle is based on the facts that the term Moore doesn't mean Arab or anything to do with the modern ppl of the geographic location,it's a description like swarthy meaning dark skin, also what the albino European said about ous in Caribbean and the Americas and the transatlantic slave trade is not possible and don't make business sense as a matter of fact the records show that they took slave/war captives from the Caribbean and the American a handful from Africa

Coffee farming in that region of Jamaica has done a lot of deforestation of endemic plants. The Wild Cherimoya of Jamaica Annona Praetermissa is one. The Cherimoya Annona cherimola was imported by the British as shade for coffee farms. Also the Wild Soursop Annona jamaicensis is in Blue Mountains.

Your reference at 7:50 mins to 'Back' highlights the German composer Johan Sebastian Bach born in 1685 died 1750. I cant think of an English noun that would correctly mimic the sound of his last name, but if you were to eliminate the hard 'CK' in back, and replace it with a harder 'SH' , you would be closer. From Google a 'Cantata' is a medium-length narrative piece of music for voices with instrumental accompaniment, typically with solos, chorus, and orchestra. Otherwise a very informative video as usual.
