You could really see the results of Lucinda’s teaching today. The way you rode had Jam using her haunches so effectively. From the other Vlog I keep hearing Lucinda saying, “She’s an athlete! She’s not a pony, she’s a horse!” And you rode her like a horse. So great to see!

Pete is a keeper if he is happy to chow down on the back of a poopy horse lorry. He looked like he quite enjoyed watching you too. So sweet. I have the best horse hubby, even though when he met me 20+ years ago he was terrified of them.

I've said this before BUT I think one can truly see an improvement in Jams muscles, particularly in the back? All that pole work is really paying off now!!

Well done the whole team, brought a tear to my eye watching the leader before x country come in over the time and knowing you had won(hex hex hex) was also lovely meeting jam jam and hobbit , what a lovely lady , will have to buy my badminton ticket now x

Yay!! That cross country footage though! So nice! She looked really confident and fantastic. Great riding. My favourite part was the pat you gave her after the combo in SJ; such amazing, kind horsemanship! And what a super girl!

Love these Pure powered ponies! You guys are amazing. Glad the nutritionist is back, but when he can't provide a fancy meal, the Y food for riders seems ideal before events so one does not feel bloated or weighed down yet has enough energy to go full throttle.

Good job. I once heard Bob Avila (reining horse trainer) say he heard Matlock Rose (famous cutting horse trainer) say that a horse show is where we go to show off how much work we have done at home.

Amazing job Meg and Jam!! So happy for you! Also just a little note from a showjumper, like you said at one point, the rail she had in the school might have made her more careful. Often in schooling a lot of people actually try to get a little rub (sometimes ends up being a rail) before heading in to the ring on certain horses because it makes them a bit more sharp and aware in the show ring, so I wouldn’t be too worried if I were you!
