I dont think Asha Parekh destroyed her life, she looks concented and happy. Being single is awesome, she is very beautiful, confident actress of all times. Yes everyone get lonely, but she kept herself busy. She is well known in the films industry. Ashaji is a fantastic 💃 🩰 dancer. My favorite actress ❤. God bless her. I politely disagree. Since she is a different woman who choose to remain unmarried as she thought she may not love another man. Nasir was happily married, it is Asha who suffered and adjusted with life , Nasir since married knows the consequence should have stopped her initially. She is not happy ! Asha did a mistake and no co star guided her to prevent this disaster.

Women who have affairs with married men ALWAYS KNOW the consequences of their actions because it takes TWO TO TANGO ( TAALI DO HAATHO SE BAJTI HAI) and in a hetero-sexual affair both the man and the woman are equally responsible. Asha is a week older than Amitabh. She, Rajesh Khanna, Jeetendra and Amitabh are all born in the year 1942 but Asha was a heroine at 17 (debuted in DIL DEKE DEKHO 1959) hence she looked worn out and old much earlier than others because showbusiness recognises actors and actresses according to HOW LONG THEY HAVE BEEN SEEN ON SCREEN . SO BY 1973 SHE LOOKED OLD WITHOUT BEING OLD HER last film was HEERA (1973) when she was hardly 31 years of age. Technically I would call ANJAAN RAAHEIN (1974) her last film coz in it she had a lead role that was of a mature school teacher. HEERA was an average hit while ANJAAN RAAHEIN flopped despite Feroz Khan in lead role.

I remember reading in some magazine few years ago where she stated that she fell in love with a married man and as she did not believe in breaking up someone else’s house for her benefit she walked out gracefully but at the same time she didn’t believe she could love anyone else. One in a way could respect her wise decision. She runs an hospital where she finds a lot peace within herself. Kudos to her and her old form of upbringing. It’s not for anyone question her decision. She was a good actor who will alway be fondly remembered. God bless her

I hav watched almost every film of Asha Parekh. She ws amazingly versatile, from doing light roles in Teesri Manzil (look at her dance in the song Aah aah aaja) to serious roles. Look at Chirag. Some of the bedt songs from Bollywood r picturized on her. Loved this episode. I dont know why film makers didnt cast her in a senior role after she became old - after all, like Waheeda Rehman, she looked graceful & elegant & in fact looked even more of a personality in her old age.

Hi.... I am from Mumbai. She was the cousin of my Mom's best friend. She used to visit her cousin in Mumbai frequently. My mom used to say that they played together during their childhood. One incident that i had heard few years back... There was a movie called Shikar in 1969. It had the superhit song 'Parde mein rehne do , Parda Naa uthaao'. We never know the movie Shikaar , but we all have heard this superhit song. It was very interesting to learn that she was dead against this song even after shooting this song. She felt that this was a vulgar song and it won't be right for her image .!! Then somehow the Music director convinced her about the song and the rest is history. But what is interesting is the stark difference in the yesteryear era and today's time. Today's actresses want to go viral by their language, their songs or by doing hot scenes on screen. And the yesteryears lead actresses thought all of that was so much against their image..!! Wonder how times have changed..!!!

आशा पारेख बहुत सुन्दर और बेहतरीन अदाकारा थीं उनकी फिल्म जब प्यार किसी से होता है से लेकर शायद ही कोई फिल्म न देखी हो उनसे मैं मिलना चाहता था. वर्ष 1964 में मैं मुंबई चला गया और उनके शान्ता क्रूज के घर पर मिलने की बहुत कोशिश की लेकिन मुलाकात नहीं हुई उनके द्वारा भेजा गया फोटो ऑटोग्राफ आज भी मेरे पास है उनसे मुलाकात लव ईन टोकियो के सेट पर दादर मे श्री साउन्ड स्टूडियो में हुई थी. अब 56 साल बाद यादें ताजा हो गईं. ईश्वर आशा जी को लंबी उम्र दे.

Love jihad and in your religion women is considered half intelligent so good point she never had to be 2nd 3rd 4th wife of anyone. She escaped from Halala. Good she did not go through FGM which is very common among Bohri females.. She never needed to wear black tent.. She does not need to recite hatred filled verses because her father was Hindu.

AP WAS an out & out hit ,successful dignified,smar,beautiful,talented actress: non controvercial: we used to storm to the theatre ,to watch her films,& were never disappointed: all educated class loved her.she wore lovely dresses.faced healthy competetion from Sadhna,Saira,and many seniors as well as actresses joining later.but She maintained her own place, never got affected by any competetion.There were no cheap double meaning dialogues or vulgur scenec,where d audieunce wd feel awkward,as most of her films were being wTched by families,as there was decent entertainmeny,good commedy,classical dances,beautiful songs,great stories with a social message.She was not a one movie,or one scene wonder,lk today's actresses.Hats off to her ,& a big salute

Asha Parekh ,a pretty talented actress if her times, is a graceful and amazing lady..Everyone doesn't have to be married to be happy, it's her life,her choices, that doesn't make unhappy..she also did social service thru her hospital etc...it's better to be single,than in amarriage, where two people don't get along and disrespect and abuse can hurt more than aloneness 🙏
