To me at least the reason I really love Atletico under Simeone is that they never quit under any circumstances. Since they also make few mistakes and are I believe tactically more prepared than other teams to take advantage of opposition mistakes it just makes them rough to deal with for anyone. Mentally and tactically they are just better than you, and they are very efficient with their chances. So you'd better beat them on talent or you're gonna lose. Make any sort of mistake and odds are you'll be punished for it immediately.

What you mentioned at the beginning of the video was not the extent of Atletico de Madrid's success before the Simeone era. It was from the moment they rose back to Primera Division in the early 2000's but before then they had won 9 La Liga titles and had even reached the Champions League final in 1974. He has transformed the club and Atleti is now in the best era of its entire history but to say they had only won a Europa and a SuperCup is not true.

well they have been my favourite side since simeone took over. One of the strangest sides in UCL and la liga history, they really love the tag of underdogs inspite of such success. The favourites tag wear them down - loves to be the dog on the corner whom nobody notices but slowly would come behind you and tear you down. Diego simeone - well his story with ATM deserves a good documentation. followed their progress - and to be selfish i want him to reach at- least 3 more UCL finals, win 3 more uefa cup and at- least 1 more la liga. If he ever leaves ATM would love him to come to inter or lazio, so that he can rewrite his renaissance in serie a by breaking juve grip in the league, and bring UCL pedigree to these clubs (whichever he chooses)

Simeone is better than klopp. He has taken a mid table side 4 European finals overall while growing players like Godin,griezman,oblak and saul into world class players.
