How do you wait at the microwave?

Our old microwave would say “Enjoy your meal” when it finished, and my brothers and I would all say it in unison as it showed on the little screen😂

I couldn't stop laughing at the absentminded one. I will literally put something in the microwave, and then come back hours later to microwave something else and then stare blankly at it still in there

You forgot the one where you're waiting for it to go off and then you realize you hadn't poured yourself a glass of milk with 5 seconds left, so you sprint to try and make it. That is me literally every time

I am laughing so freaking hard because a lot of the things you did were exactly what I would do by myself. With the exception running around the house before it beeps. What really got me was you humming to the tune of the hummimg sound and then the beep. 🤣😂🤣😂

I'm some messy variant of the cleaner and the "can't let it beep"er as well as to some extent, a guesser. I have this unconscious ability to ALWAYS make eye contact with the microwave timer at 1:52 minutes left without fail and it's so bizarre.

I’m a “clean up before it beeps” mixed with the “cant let it beep”. Although I like to wait a second whenever it hits one so that I open the microwave right as it would have beeped instead of opening as soon as it hits one. It’s complicated for no reason but I just have to do it every time.

I have a terminally ill son who has been hospital or housebound for over 2 years. I can never explain how much your videos mean to him. He gets so much happiness from watching you skate through one hilarious situation after another. He is hilarious himself, putting his doctors and nurses into stitches. He'd like to mail you something. Do you have a po box?

I'm gonna be honest, I do all of these. Except the last one

Lmaoo when he was playing the “absent minded” one i audibly said “yeah and then he comes back 3 hours later” and then it actually cut to him doing just that 💀

Daniel has a great brain-eye-body coordination. He had put away almost 10 sets of things in 15 seconds. And he knows perfectly where they all go into. He also cleans the spill during the clean up all with in that 15 seconds. We all at some point might have done that clean up before the microwave beep, but this is called EXTREME CLEAN UP! It's almost like it is not true. But it is right in front of our eyes! Great job, Daniel and family for working so hard in edu-taining us!

I'm 100% the "can't let it beep" mostly bc I use it without permission and want to make as little noise as possible to not get caught lol 😂

I do several of these. I try to prep other parts of the meal or do chores while waiting. I sometimes zone out while waiting. I sometimes beep along with it, and late at night I will sometimes stop it at one second left. I live in an apartment and don't want to disturb the neighbors. I have an irregular sleep/wake cycle due to health issues, so I can be awake, asleep, or eating at any time of the day or night. Fortunately, my apartment building has good sound proofing. I do understand doing prepping or chores while waiting. It's good use of time, and keeps us from having to wait for the beep. Another poster mentioned having once had a microwave oven that displayed "Enjoy your meal!" when it beeped. That sounds really cool. Mine just beeps and has a very loudly closing door.

Definitely the "absent minded" one is me however sometimes I go a lil further and watch the whole process and start wondering alot of things and with every single question or thought striking my mind at that point of time I kinda feel proud and appreciative of how great my brain's thinking capability is 🤣🤣🤣.

This is not a waiting thing specifically, but I love being able to check the time on the microwave because of its central location in our house, and my wife unplugs it all the time while cleaning without resetting the clock, which drives me absolutely bonkers.

Wow, you put a lot of me in this video. I'm a combination of "can't let it beep", "guesser", "absent minded" and "impatient". I open it at the moment it beeps. My mental timer has it counting exactly how many seconds. Maybe I'll forget to eat for hrs at a time. Sometimes I just eat the food without microwaving it bc I'm too impatient.

I absolutely STOP the countdown at 02 seconds every time. AND being a singer, I harmonize with the tone as well. Its too cool to find someone does this too.
