This video is to show that our carriages and trolley are light enough that even us humans can pull them around! so for our 2'000lb draft horses this is a stroll in the park (literally!)

Thank you for sharing this. There are people out there who fail - or refuse - to understand that all sulkies/bikes, wagons, carriages, trams are designed in such a manner to make the workload easy for the horse to handle; it does not take a lot of horsepower to pull a carriage. Pulling these conveyances are not hard on the horse and they do not constitute cruelty.

using a horse for profit is wrong when clydesdales graze.. that's enough exercise for them.. anything else is exploitation.. you think they wanna stand around traffic and wait for a family to pay money to give them exercise?

@@shaunvanderheyden6931 no it fucking isn't. They become too ft nd will founder from laminitis. How about you learn about horses fucking first. Horses re ride. Lot harder than these horses pulling carrige in walk with little of trot. Also horses other than clydesdales can pull carriages you know. Honest to god get. Grip. The don't drive out in temperatures over 96F. But people go to horse shoes and perform in whatever temp the day is at. And they do a lot more exertion than cart horses. Horses are flighty animals by nature sometimes something does give them a spook but they need to experience it to learn its not gonna hurt them. I've seen horses spook at their own fucking rugs but I'm not gonna not rug them in torrential rain if they need it! Honestly you want to see bad care of carriage horses go to fucking Greece. That's where cruelty cases are. I saw the carriage horses in New York. They were running, healthy and clearly well looked after.

It is the starting and stopping that puts the strain on the legs. Young's Brewery in London did horse drawn deliveries up until early 2000's, they stopped because of several very nasty road rage incidents by motor drivers. Traffic {motor} forced them off the roads.

so how do you feel about walking these horses around high traffic areas and breathing in toxic fumes all day? how about when cars, dogs, and random people making loud noises and scare them.. i stood and watched for 3 hours while these horses became anxious over so many different things...
