Him sitting up there looking like a Southern baptist pastor after his 2nd plate at the repass is irony.

First time I’m hearing him outside of a basketball context. He seems like a chill and smart dude.

“I’m not in 20s anymore” Correct! which just means you have eat less than you did and have more discipline in your 30s to maintain your weight. Getting older doesn’t mean you automatically add pounds. Eating more and working out less does that.

To the out of shape situation. You are a PROFESSIONAL athlete. Being paid millions. You should be the epitome of stay ready so you don’t gotta get ready.

Raymond Felton in college was explosive, dunking N blowing by defenders. Took his foot off the gas in the league. He gotta lose some weight rn. Its a lifestyle choice he still struggles with. Find the motivation my G. You breathing heavy which is an indicator of sleep apnea. Keep on living

It’s a scale. If your level of play is a 9, and your level of mess is a 7, drama with teammates, coaches, refs, you get to stay in the league and get paid. When you age or get injured and your level of play is now a 6, but you’re still on level 7 with all the mess, it’s a net negative, and no one wants you. The best thing is to never start all the mess. Teams will keep you around later even if your game drops off.

As a Knick fan, I can confirm Raymond Felton was (barely) a backup in his 9th season. In all seriousness, he was that by his 7th season.
