How Dinosaur Footprints Survived 65 Million Years

When dinosaurs walked through the mud they left footprints, just like you do on a muddy trail. Over time these footprints were filled with sand, small pebbles or ash from a volcano and eventually hardened into rock. The footprints were preserved for millions of years until erosion brought them to the surface where people can see them.
It might seem like burying tracks would destroy them, but a blanket of sediment actually helps protect footprints. Another way in which a track can be protected is when an animal's foot sinks deeply into the sediment, creating a footprint below the surface, where it cannot be eroded.

If these dinosaurs are 60 feet tall, wouldn’t the tracks be further apart and not the same cadence as a human?

The last huge 5 foot track was the one mentioned. Pulse the other ones are close together because they are right foot, left foot arm prints close together. When a dinosaur or any animal steps on fours it's opposite arm and leg steps are imprinted closer together.

Depends. Think of how heavy a dinosaur would be. It also depended on how wide their feet were. If a specific species had smaller feet, and shorter legs; walking would’ve been exhausting. Not all footprints are going to be the same.

Why do the footprints remain on the surface, yet the fossils can be found many meters underneath the surface in other areas?

Your answer to that is because erosive forces are not static as the environment changes over many years. Below is one such process that can preserve and then expose impressions in the earth. 1. Step in soft mud to leave a footprint Footprint in soft mud dries into kinda hard clay 2. Kinda hard clay gets covered by other soft soil. Lots of soft soil. Soil compacts for a few million years and and the kinda hard clay turns into very hard rock like shale or mudstone. 3. A river shifts and begins to erode an area. 4. Erosion takes away any soft and kinda hard stuff, exposing the footprints that are now in very hard rocks. It sounds like very specific and unlikely conditions because… it is. Were it not, then fossilized footprints would be far more commonplace.

@@AtillaTheFun1337not to mention that the dino bones on the surface or on mountains get destroyed more easily so there’s a selection bias to the areas where they can stick around long enough to be fossilized

you are woefully and deliberately ignorant of basic facts that get this were discovered by Christians or Jews, or Muslims including the fact that the Universe is 13.8 billion years old. it's okay I get your faith tells you to call this a lie but I have the planet Earth as my proof. I understand if you think evolution is evil or something but I promise you no one who studies or figures out the answers to the questions we have of the universe is trying to make you think a certain way they just want answers and those answers do not care about your opinions. also over 5,000 years ago was when the Pyramids of Giza were being built and the Egyptians write about everything and they didn't mention dinosaurs.

@@philpeko1796 I can explain, it's quite simple really. 'Education' is a joke. What we are taught in schools are lies to indoctrinate us. The earth is thousands not billions of years old, no such thing as dinosaurs. God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1 We have a common enemy, Satan and his offspring and followers, who at all levels in society are working against us. For example introducing these lies to be taught in schools, poisoning food etc. If we don't believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ, repent and be saved we will end up with the same fate as our enemy, not to mention be deep down miserable in life knowing something is missing, but not desiring truth so not quite sure what that something is which adds to the misery.
