It’s on purpose. Apple requires them to give them a cut if they sell stuff in their app. So instead of losing a cut they just don’t put it on there.

It got them nothing, since ads are the only way they get money from that many views and since 99.999% of them are from an , it has no ads, so no ad revenue for 99.999% of the views

I for one hope that they don't delete the video or the views on it. It should stay as a monument, kinda like other famously glitched KZfaq videos, like "Why do KZfaq views freeze at 301" or the "Neutral Response" Futurama clip with a balanced like/dislike ratio. Obviously it should be exempt from the "most viewed video in 24 hours" record because it wasn't earned, but I want the video itself to stay as something to look back on and say "oh yeah, THAT happened"
