@@trevturp6891 Her introduction to canon as Nightsister is a joke. Before only Zabraks were Nightsisters, but she is a mere human. YET another human, which is boring. They couldn't come up with a real Nightsister like Merrin, Talzin, Ventress, Karis, Naa'leth (who are all female Dathomirian Zabraks by the way according to new canon).

also pellion did not ever meet thrawn untill he was a grand admiral

@@SirCatnapTheThird This could have been a co-operation effort between the two companies. Also Pellaeon could have simply been transfered to the Third Fleet inbetween the events of "Thrawn: Treason" and the episode. In the book it is never stated that the two knew each other from past experiences.

@@alessiocapone9816 but what I am saying is that we know for a fact that thrawn pitched the idea for a new fighter to taken who allowed him to meet with sienar fleet systems to design the fighter. And even if Sienar fleet systems met with morgan's company to design it which they did not thrawn would have already knew about her assistance and the show presented it like he has just discovered the fighter for the first time

@@SirCatnapTheThird In a Wookieepedia article on the subject, it says that Thrawn did what You said when He remembered meeting with Morgan years earlier and her failed proposal of what would eventually become the Twin Ion Engine"Defender", multiple-role Starfighter. It wasn't even named as a Defender then: it was still in the early design stages and did not pass Moff Isdain's short-sighted judgement. In conclusion: Thrawn mearly succeded in getting Sienar Fleet Systems to begin considering mass production.

Well the StarWars.com summery of the episode did say she made it but I agree with you about everything.

They ret-conned that after Disney took over and made it EU. Now in cannon Thrawn with the help of sienar fleet systems made the defender (until now that is).

@@UnluckyCantaloupe4 he had some kind of name, and he was temple guard, and yes, his story would be the best to chose here to show for them. But i guess they wanted to show bariss, which nobody asked for and whats her name , who nobody cares about.

With the book and game media, Disney seems to be reverting to the old school (pre-Disney) philosophy of having a split between the *main* canon (the main movies and designated shows) and a separate EU for everything else. That EU could be taken from and referenced by the canon material, but the canon material could also contradict it and do something else, decanonizing whatever details it was overriding. It would be a little odd when the stories that had details disproven by new materials in canon were still *canon to* the EU, but people lived with it. The problem now is… they are basically operating under this model again while the audience is still operating under the “everything is canon” model they told us about. I mean, it’s almost inevitable that Filoni would operate this way if left to his own devices (he’s an EU fan, who also worked with George and adopted his model for dealing with the EU while making a canon show for him,) but they probably just shouldn’t have told us “everything is canon” in the first place and then we wouldn’t be having this conversation as much.

I still watch Disney becuase I love star wars and always will and even if it is all crap things like Andor or bad batch give me hope.

Well Disney has been decannonizing many parts of beloved cannon books nowadays and they are replacing it with anything better in fact they almost always make it worse

We are talking about books that were specifically said to be canon.

Lucasfilm considers the comics to be canon. They're on the timeline.
