Please, if you haven't, do not get your son conserved. Limited Conservatorship is for individual for delvelopmental disabilities. This is happening to the participant I work for. I worked for an agency for 10+ years as a roommate/live-in caregiver position making minimum wage. I only left when the agency discriminated against me when I became a 1st time mother even though the participant and his sister his Conservator has the right to continue to choose me as his live-in-aide. The agency worked closely with regional center to retaliate against participant to discontinue and delay needed services. These criminals get very upset when they can no longer use you and control you. Regional Center falsely accused me of financial abuse even though Conservator, Adult Protective Services and In-Home-Support-Services confirmed there was no abuse and closed the case. When participant's Conservator passed away, Regional Center again alleged financial abuse concerns remain, falsely accusing me of requesting for more services to pay myself for participant's care, and requesting the court to appoint a 3rd party payee, a regional center vendor, to be funded by regional center, which so happened to be the exact same agency I resigned from. They're all accusing me of doing it for the money. Slander. Defamation of character. Understand, Regional Centers are the ones who authorized needed services and set the rates for services. Regional Centers have to certify the Self-Determination Program individual budget stating this is what they would funded for services if participant was in their Traditional Model. Regional Centers and Agencies are violating participant's rights and freedom to choice and control. The judge, court appointed attorney, guardian ad litem, public guardians, are all working hand in hand with regional center and Department of Developmental Services. They're going to strip participant's of his rights and appoint a public guardian to control and redirect monies to line their own pockets. Know that these individuals in positions of power overseeing these budget approvals own these agencies, under a LLC, and ran by close family and friends. Oh but they will falsely accuse anyone of abuse, so while the unsuspected victims are defending their innocence, these criminals can bill excessive rates for their services. Families torn apart. Children and adults with developmental disabilities are being legally kidnapped, drugged, and exploited for profit. False imprisonment. And It is criminal. A multi-billion dollar human trafficking crime. Jesus, help us. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
