Illusive Prime Hey, no it's fine ^^ It basically means your headache went away because you knew that taking the tablet would make it go away, so psychologically you lost your headache. (it wasn't the actual medicine which did that). I only say this because paracetamol taken orally typically takes at least 15 minutes to start exerting its effect.

What do you mean by enhancing the brain? The source of the pain would be muscle irritation or some kind of fluid build up somewhere (I imagine). There needs to be a way to deal with that directly rather than blocking prostaglandin production or blocking nerve cells from transmitting.

It works for me with a big dosage, about 600-800mg. I usually take 400mg with Ibuprofen and 400mg with paracetamol at the same time

The reason effective pain treatments are deliberately kept away from the general public is because of people like Charlie who are so addicted to pill popping that they stop caring about the pills effectiveness. If Charlie is popping pills that don't even work on pain, when he doesn't even have pain, then why would doctors give us stuff like sedatives and opiates when they can't tell the difference between us and irresponsible people?

@@mollyfoster837 I do agree with that point of view. Matter of fact I was stabbed, Friday last week. I told the ER I don't want any pain killers, I don't like pills. Other medicines are of course okay, like for very specific problems one may have, but pain is pain, life is nothing but pain plus some good times. Man up and eat the pain. Matter of fact, I'm being very biased.... I broke a couple of ribs a few months ago and that shit was AWFUL. I ate Tramadol like it was candy, but this stabbed thing was nothing. On the other hand, when I broke my ankle, forearm and collar bone, I didn't eat many, maybe a few at the beginning. Of course I didn't break all that at once, different situations.
