Very informative video!, but 1 thing you didn't cover is: In case your section comes out to be in the transition zone and thus phi is a bit less than 0.9, which is the better approach (economically, logically and best-practice wise)? a) calculate new phi, and repeat design using it (so your beam won't be pure tension controlled) b) add a bit compression steel to reduce the value of a, and thus reducing C, so that the strain increases
