The first woman could also see a doctor and check her blood and everything. She looks so burnt out. I had a heavy burn out, after it a whole lot of my teeth was going bad. My body was missing all, vitamins, minerals, so much essential stuff. And my nervous system ... the doctor said, what has happened in your body and specially to your nervous system, is like atom war, atom bomb in your nervous system, -so true! it took me years to get better. I learnt more about health in the past years than ever before ❣❤🧡🍀🌹

Why is Steve always a better listener than the "experts?" Don't tell people in happy relationships about divorced people. That framing is not helpful.

The 1st wife is in a workhorse marriage. He's trying to tell her if her good guy doesn't share the load or give her some relief she won't last, if the load isn't shared... She's working, doing 100% of the 'real' childcare, 100% of the cooking & cleaning & shopping, & being the supportive sweetie pie wifie. He's a couch hubby with a job & high expectations...lk she said she's trapped with this man. All caged animals want to be free...

The second lady (in the blush top) sounds like she dated my ex husband. he would rather spend 2000 us to rent a yacht for 4 hours to entertain his "friends" with a dj and champagne, just for 4 hours, but didn't have 2000us for rent every month. he would spend on his credit card for bottle service and cigars for everyone in the club, but didn't have cash in his wallet and couldn't afford groceries. he would change his car very often to the flashiest cars but they were leased. he didnt own a single thing. rent an expensive suit etc. he was A NARCISSIST. A grandios narc.

first lady should cut her work hours to be more present as a wife and mother. an extra hour once a week won't cut it. right now she is prioritizing her job... why are you working full time? Her husband will feel neglected and more prone to adultery. The therapist was not very helpful IMO.

Maybe she likes her job and/or maybe they need the money, some ppl need to have a purpose outside of the family. But why does she have to do everything re. the family/house duties? Why do women need to be perfect & men just need to be, not put any work in the family duties?...Why can't her husband take care of the child and/or dinner from time to time?...if her husband helps her get a break once a week, like the guy suggested, then she'll be in the mood to ''take care'' of her husband ;) win-win.
@kameshamcg5646

I wonder what her husband should do in order to be more present as a husband and father. I wonder why mothers are expected to do everything when kids have two parents for a reason...she can also feel neglected from her husband's laziness which can make her more prone to adultery too. Bet u didn't think that there was two ways to look at it n that the woman doesn't always have to do all the compromising. She has feelings and is entitled to a break too. Everyone does.

what is with the idea that being a mother is the hardest job in the world? i get that mothers fill a very important role in their children's lives but lets not over hype that role. there are other jobs that are so much harder. eg coal miners, soldiers on the front lines, police officers, emergency room doctors, paramedics, firefighters, construction workers. this constant reinforcement of the idea that being a mother is the hardest job in the world gives many women the self entitled viewpoint that is breaking many would be relationships. just my 2 cents. i would be more than willing to have a civil discussion with anyone about this in the comments.

ignorant comment coming from a dude. i believe they're just acknowledging the fact that being a mother is simply a hard job. noone said the jobs u listed werent also hard. She mentioned her job. Im sure if she said paramedics, he would say the same. However, she mentioned HER job, which is equally as hard. U made no point

I am a mother and basically it is a job which never turns off. I think other parents are overwhelmed, when they don't get the support for themselves, as they would like too. As a parent, you are thinking and acting not just on behalf of yourself, but for your child 24 hours a day. Sleep deprivation is a common thing among parents with no help. I also work in one of the occupations you mentioned and it is a task trying to balance all the responsibilities, bills, quality care and time that a child needs to be a well balanced individual, that I desire my child to be. I'm of the opinion, that Mothers and Fathers who care about their children, say that it is hard, because as a parent they want to give the best to their child in both tangible and intangible means. It is always a juggling of resources especially time. I think you are trying to compare the danger and purpose level of the jobs you called, as examples to compare with being a mother. It is not comparable in the sphere you think it is, but it is just as challenging in the softer skills of life, such as time management and communication. What task can I give priority to now that would benefit me or my child? No one gives you a manual on being a parent. Each child is unique, even if you discuss your child with another parent, there is no guarantee that that method would work in parenting. In my "dangerous" job I can get a manual or find someone to help or solve a problem faster than I would for a child. It takes trial and error and a lot of faith and prayer to choose a parenting style that works. So my friend, when you decide to be a parent or not, just remember, everyone's journey is different.

I don’t believe her.She sounds like she’s just tired of being married or she’s thinking about an affair.The reason I said that is because she said her husband is a good man.Why did she have to say that? And then taking one child to ballet and cooking your tired!? And she’s been married eight years? She just sounded bored to me and like there was something else going on.I raised five,cooked and worked and everything else that goes with that! And she’s tired!? Umm!
