Brother! I am a nurse and have been working in an addiction clinic. Metadone, suboxone and buprenorfin. What you are saying is 100% truth! Ive worked with addiction over 8 years and there is NO shread of exageration in your words. Those who depend solely on the medication will experience soothing of their symptoms but they will never be free and will have many episodes of relapse. But those who put their faith and trust in Jesus, will only need the suppport for however long it takes them to accomplish whatever the Lord is planing. Let it be action or be still, but they will have healing. Lord Jesus is the light, the truth and the life. As a medical provider I am not allowed to evangelize, but precious Holy Spirit can always use us to guide towards the right direction. Halleluja! 🎉🎉🎉

I was delivered and healed from addiction and codependency over 20 years ago! There was layers of deliverance and healing for over 3 years. the baptism of the Holy Ghost, practicing spiritual disciplines, the word and the purpose driven life book changed my heart and mind. Now I minister in recovery with mental and emotional coaching through the arts. But without belief in the word and power of the Holy Ghost, sexual sin took 3 years of fasting and praying seeking God for The Rest of God through Graham Cookes “The Rest” series. Meditating on the word of God to believe in the truth that will set you free from rebellion to be delivered from demonic oppression strongholds and even sometimes generational curses is a process but today I am totally free. I was trained at bible school but I dont think I should be the one who preaches at him. Im so grateful for this teaching. Hey you freed my soul!!! Thanks to you Jesus broke all my chains! I was hooked on suboxone for 7 years watched this video by the end of it I took the prescription out of my bag and throw it away!! Addiction is the physical consequence of a constant yielding to temptation

God had to rescue me from the world. I had everything money, job, car everything and I lost everything just like that because I turned to drugs and alcohol. I almost lost my mind and ended up in a psychiatric hospital but I kept the faith. I am more than a year clean today with no rehab or clinic. I had an encounter with Jesus in my dark room, crying, asking him for change. My BIBLE was whole time next to my bed infront of my eyes. I opened it and started isolating me in my room, started praying and started reading my bible everyday(Started by the book of MARK). My grandmother was a huge part of my recovery because she was always telling I need to start praying, keeping the faith and read my bible just before she got ill. She always said I will get everything back again. She passed away this year. God came to fetch her. Today I am sober, got a job again and was promoted this year. I spend a lot of with Jesus. PRAYER. FAST . WORSHIP(MUSIC). READING THE BIBLE. AND I CONTINUE TO SAVE OTHERS BY TELLING MY TESTIMONY BECAUSE THE GOSPEL SAVED ME. IT'S NOT ABOUT ME, IT'S ABOUT JESUS. HE IS ALIVE. I WORSHIP HIM AND ONLY HIM.

Everything you said it’s so true, I relapse couple months ago and I stopped praying and sinning, I got so bad for months I was no longer walking by faith, I just barely repented again I pray so hard i went to sleep and woke up , I felt renewed and joyful, I knew Jesus renewed me cause I told him I’m done with everything I’m ready to come back home, So I started deleting my wicked things I had in my house and social media, threw away all the alcohol I had , and stopped watching dumb videos that don’t give you a good message , I’m also looking into going into a sober living community, so I can learn how to have relationship with people , instead of me always alone and drinking, started working out too

I left my boyfriend as i couldn't be intimate with him anymore as i felt its wrong, then it was alcohol and thanks the Lord i don't go and buy anything anymore, i do have temptations to get a bottle of wine and chill as they say, but i know its wrong! But i have the biggest problem and im finding it so hard to quit! Tabacco!! Its the hardest of all addictions i think. Everday i say im not gonna smoke anymore and there i go again! 😢 i feel im being a hypocrite when i pray and listen to pastors and read the bible, but i will keep going and i pray i will get over this too. I have been "diagnosed" with fibromyalgia, borderline lupus, scoliosis, Degenerative disc disease, and carpal tunnel in both hands. I don't claim the illness, I cast it off in jesus name. But now getting to my point, I'm in pain management and I use MJ for managing pain. I just want to be able to function and talk to Jesus. When I'm in so much pain all I can do is cry and pray. But when I eat an edible I make myself or smoke. I finally can focus on reading the word and spreading the gospel. I've been told my faith isn't strong enough if I'm relying on "dr*gs". I changed my diet to go on the anti-inflammatory diet. I pray over all my food and bless everyone who had a hand in making the food. I just want to please The Lord and live for him so that I may help his children who have it worse off than me. I just want to be good. 😢😢😢 IJNA ❤

I've been on diazepam for years. It got worse when my mom was diagnosed with cancer and escalated when my 4 year old nephew at the time caught cancer (leukemia) as well. My mom died in October and when I took the all my pills before refill time, I experienced withdrawal for the first time and still did not fear death just a craving to get more. After listening to the word everyday and finding this KZfaq channel I was determined to quit. Went from 13 pills a day to 1 a day and now 0 a day but I still have the pills where I can see them. After watching this I flushed them and will continue to fight aggressively. God bless everyone who will truly fight addiction and peace to all those who mourn in Jesus name.

With porn, getting rid of internet and media didn’t work for me, because I have a vivid imagination. My parents literally cut me off from the world growing up and I would just get lost in erotic fantasy in my mind. The number one biggest issue is lack of meaningful fulfilling purpose. If you don’t engage in meaningful fulfilling activity you will fail.

It’s destroying me. Even when I stop one, I pick up another in its place. When I’m by myself, I’m ok but then the moment I step outside, I fall for it so easily. I know it’s the devil because he knows exactly what to tempt me with in that moment when I feel strong enough to overcome all my other addictions. I fall for it so easily and I’m so ashamed. The feeling of guilt, weakness and anxiety overwhelms me when I allow myself to succumb to it. I’m so sick and disgusted with myself because I feel like a fraud asking our Heavenly Father for forgiveness and strength after I mess up and then do it again but with something different from the last time. I feel like a liar and a user of Gods mercy for letting him down every time I give into these temptations. I’m so weak and I don’t want him to turn his back and give up on me but I feel like it’s already happened because being a repeat offender makes me feel like I’m giving up on myself even though I want to stop. I just want help. I really need a good friend to help me because I don’t have anyone sober around me as support. If it isn’t cigarettes, it’s alcohol, or a psychedelic or coke. The cigarettes and alcohol are the hardest because it’s easily there. I’m so tired of this and angry with how weak I am. Can someone please pray for me? I’ve been praying but I feel like it’s not enough. I’ve been getting attacked so heavily and was doing so good until the devil started using my addictions against me a few days ago. I’m tired of these terrible feelings and just want them to stop. I want to be sober and be closer to Jesus but I feel like I don’t really know him with what I’m doing even though I say I do. I’m really lost right now

My husband is damaged from his past relationship with his deceased daughter mother and he has tried multiple attempts of suicide so pray extremely hard for him as well as i have so in thr name of the fire of the lord .amen

You can shelter your kids from the world but they can still be ensared by ungodly people. The lie I bought Into is smoking relieves your stress, it never did. Also my mom smoked in the house. So I had mixed feelings about God growing up. People were taught just read the Bible wich you should but with elohim you have to let him patch your heart up and work with you to adress those compromises. I had a vision after being stood up that a girl that used me for attention was held and comforted by Jesus and he said "relax, i forgive you." It was a tithe from a person that was holding a grudge against Me and when he touched that my anger and anxiety went away instantly. Someone was being possessive over me and it manifested and interfered with my love life. It's amazing how the holy spirit can heal old wounds we didn't realize we had.

God please help me break my caffeine addiction and food addiction so that I may focus on your word more 🙏 amen

As a recovering addict and born again Christian, I totally agree. There is no one size fits all on this. You definitely should get as far away from the environment or the temptation (trigger) and surround yourself with people that can keep you accountable and support your decision to recover from any addiction. Most importantly is to confess and take it to our Heavenly Father to receive forgiveness through Jesus and seek guidance from the Holy Spirit to receive the freedom we seek and be obedient to the Lord and His word to be able to stay sober and live a victorious life that pleases Him. Addiction has plagued my family for many generations. I'm a mother of three and David's question about why would a parent leave their child really shook me. This is the truth. The drug doesn't satisfy anything. God is the only answer. Amen.

I believe that we need a teaching on the strongmen. I believe the power of addiction is driven by more than one of them. Perhaps most aspects of the addiction needs to be addressed by rebuking the strongmen.

Amen Pastor! I like how you said surrendering to the Spirit solves 99% of the problem. I think what many of us have suffered from is FOMO (fear of missing out). The irony is that many of us would not have had the thought of "missing out" if we never felt the misleading pleasure of sin. I find myself continually being reprogrammed to righteousness, revelation by revelation, thanks to God's Word. And best of all, each revelation shows me what I have truly been missing out on. There are many forms of addiction that many do not even realize exist. When peope speak of addiction they think: alcohol, porn/sex, drugs. But there are others: cell phone, social media, work, sports, any physical habitual habit, anything that consumes your life, taking away yourself from family/life but most of all GOD. Stop, examine your self/life, ask Jesus to reveal to you what your addiction/sin is and then ask Him to help you to confess, repent/turn away from that addiction. Then each time it pops into your mind in temptation/distraction, snap your fingers & let the Holy Spirit help you, to say, not today satan, not ever again. I’m in severe need of prayer. My nicotine addiction has been holding me by the neck for 12 years. God saved me just last month and i’m trying so hard to purge myself of this Idol but it’s so so difficult. For me, it’s the physical dependency and weak heart of mine. Please pray for me.

When I was little I didn’t know anything of the world and I saw a video when I got my first phone and something in my head told me to watch it. But at the same time it felt so wrong, and I did it anyway. It was demonic sexual,and violence. But when I watched one video I watched more and more. It felt like it would never end. Something also changed in me. I was angry about everything even my name being called once. I was stressed out at 4 years old because of this. Sooner or later it turned into a habit and ever time I did it I felt a slight relief. I gained a huge pain in my stomach that wasn’t physical but I couldn’t explain it. If I told anyone about what I had done I thought they would hate me. One small part of my mind constantly asked me, what about God. But I felt scared and thought he was annoyed and angered by me. Until I listened to this gospel video that my mom played. It made me repent but right know I’m stuck in a cycle of temptation, sin, regret, repentance and exhaustion. Please pray for me.

hey I just wanted to comment about my journey, its about a porn addiction that I’ve been having for 7 years. I’ve recently gotten myself much closer when it comes to learning about God and so I realized my wrongs, but it wasn’t easy to give up with this addiction. You see as Mr. Hernandez said once it takes hold it can become a psychological problem and so thats what happened. Through this journey I was really afraid to give it up( my porn addiction) because keep in mind that I also had a stash and so I didn’t want to give up that stash in a way I cherish my sin. But what I’ve earned through listening to God’s word is that you need to trust, be patient, and crucify the flesh, to break free. That thought alone really bothered me at that time since my brain was programmed to want the addiction, but fortunately and thanks to God I can genuinely say…I broke free. It was hard I won’t lie about it, but I will say that breaking free is not easy( nothing really is) now that I am free I just wanted to express my joy and amusement of peace I have now knowing I am not a slave to sin or my addiction in my case. And for those who are fighting against sin and temptation just know that there is hope Remember Trust And Crucify the Flesh (Understand that this WILL cause discomfort, and remember your ways, aren’t God’s ways) Thank you God for changing my mentality and for my breakthrough Amen✝️✝️🙏 I wanted to add that is also to you Mr Hernandez preaching and spreading the word of God that I got informed Thank you and may God bless so very much✝️✝️🙏
