What you are explaining are NCAA non-qualifiers that's a 2-4 transfer who already matriculated fulltime in junior college. According to the NCAA Division 1 Sliding scale and the NCAA Transfer Guide, if you are an NCAA qualifier, that means if you completed all your high school core courses with a C average or higher, have qualifying SAT or ACT test scores, graduated high school on time with a high school diploma, you don't have to spend 2 years at JUCO. You can play college sports and start classes as an incoming freshman in the fall or spring (summer school don't count) for one semester and then transfer to an NCAA Division 1 school. Prep school style but way cheaper. If you are an NCAA non-qualifier, people say that you do have to spend 2 years and graduate from a junior college, However, that’s not always the case. It all depends on a variety of things. For example, it depends on your major, the junior college that YOU are currently attending, the registration and scheduling structure of that JUCO, do they let you create your own schedule? Or is it like high school, handcuffed and they choose the classes for you? You redshirted, injuries, etc. Some junior college programs, especially in Mississippi or Kansas or Texas, takes you about one year to graduate if you’re that motivated. And don’t feel bad if you fail to academically qualify for the NCAA Division 1 level on the first try. NCAA non-qualifiers, WHO NEVER MATRICULATED FULLTIME BEFORE, do have the option to postpone their eligibility clock by GREYSHIRTING (part-time OR three-quarter time college student) (fall or spring) for one semester or one year. You can simultaneously BOOST your SAT/ACT test scores while taking college courses (developmental/remedial classes don’t matter), and then become an NCAA qualifier, and then matriculate fulltime AFTER you make the team (already enrolled fulltime college students no longer have this option). Another possibility is that if you DO NOT COMPETE at all and remain a GREYSHIRT for one or two years, and DON’T TAKE A FULLTIME COURSE LOAD, and GRADUATE from the JUCO with an associate’s degree, you will STILL HAVE ALL 5 CUMULATIVE YEARS OF ELIGIBILITY TO COMPLETE 4 SEASONS OF COMPETITION REMAINING (JuCo and NCAA combined) (2 years for JUCO and 2 years for the NCAA with a 5th year option)! That’s mind blowing! 90 credit courses in the NJCAA (they are called units in California) is the maximum you can take at the JUCO level. And your junior college G.P.A. is locked in after graduation, it won’t change unless you transfer to a 4 year school. You can still compete, get recruited and then transfer after that. But that’s if you choose to return to the junior college level for the 2nd academic year after graduation or 3rd academic year for playing reasons instead of transferring to an NCAA Division 1 school.

In case you get rejected, Read a page from my walk-on playbook and try NCAA D3 or BYU-Idaho football or Norte Dame interhall football or the CCCAA (you can register for a college level sports-related P.E. class.....Intercollegiate Football) or NJCAA football tryouts, or a Prep school or the CSFL sprint football League (New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft played in the CSFL) or NCAA club football (Collclubsports). You will be INELIGIBLE to compete at the college level if you already played Semi-Pro/adult amateur football in the past (except if you ONLY practice with the team and DON'T COMPETE you are eligible). One more thing, According to the NCAA Division 1 sliding scale📏📊, after you graduated from high school🎓 with a 2.3 G.P.A. or higher, and have qualifying standardized test scores⏰ 📖📝(ACT or SAT national test), you can attend a JUCO for ONE SEMESTER or ONE QUARTER as a fulltime college student in the FALL🎃 🦃🏈or SPRING 💐🌻(SUMMER SCHOOL DON'T COUNT🌊🏖🌞) (NCAA qualifier); versus spending THREE FULL-TIME SEMESTERS or THREE FULL-TIME QUARTERS in Junior College, and graduating from Junior College with an AA degree🎓 (NCAA non-qualifier) (SUMMER SCHOOL DON'T COUNT)! NCAA non-qualifiers will only get 3 calender years🗓 of NCAA eligibility (without redshirting) instead of 5 years of NCAA eligibility AFTER full-time enrollment in college. you can still become an NCAA qualifier if you NEVER matriculate full-time in college IN THE PAST (FALL or SPRING semester or quarter) (SUMMER SCHOOL DON'T MATTER). Let's think about it, a part-time load of studies (less than 12 transferable credit hours per semester or quarter in the fall or spring) (it doesn't matter which college you attend) (SUMMER SCHOOL STILL DOESN'T COUNT)! the NCAA don't care if you register full-time in college during the summer semester or quarter (it doesn't matter which college you attend). If you don't redshirt, the NCAA will only give you 5 calendar years 🗓to complete 4 seasons of competition after full-time enrollment in college (NCAA Qualifier). Your NCAA eligibility clock ⌚⏳ only begins after full-time collegiate enrollment in the FALL🏈🦃🎃🍁 or SPRING⚾🐦🌈🌼🌻 🍀semester or quarters🙄. Your NCAA eligibility clock WILL NOT START in the SUMMER🌞🌡🏐🏖🐚😁. Moreover, a Greyshirt year (a part-time college student in the fall or spring) (SUMMER DON'T COUNT) gives you a more competitive advantage long-term over a high school recruit. Oh really, what do you mean😕🤔? You can greyshirt (without competing) until you graduate from a community college (2 year college🏫🎒) (AA degree🎓) and still retain ALL 5 calendar years🗓 of NCAA eligibility👊💢💥. More great news!👀 Since JUCO don't have an eligibility clock, and let's say you haven't competed anywhere yet, (AFTER GRADUATION🎓) you can retain 2 years 🗓of eligibility at the JUCO level😎👍. Now here's the fun part, You can also compete as a greyshirt at a post-graduate/prep school, or at a college club football team (any college that doesn't have varsity level football, only the club level) for ONE CALENDAR YEAR🗓 AFTER HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION🎒🎓 (George Mason University)💪. After that, you will lose NCAA eligibility for EVERY YEAR you continue to compete for that team AFTER your high school graduation 🎓gap year😒. The NCAA calls it delay enrollment. I'll say it again, SUMMER DON'T COUNT!🏈😉👍

@@TheUnLuckyKidapparel if your red shirt or gray shirt yes you can. But Why stay there for 3 years? become an NCAA qualifier and you can stay there for one semester in the fall or spring (summer don't count).

Don’t need to go to JUCO you can go to any college as a walk on or wait until you get noticed by recruiters

as long as you have not played sports at the college level, yes you can. The JUCO level don't have an eligibility clock. You will have two years to play at the JUCO level.

@@dylanmanuel7808 because of scholarships. They don't have a lot of athletic scholarships or endowment money to go around and they don't want guys to stick around for more than 5 to 6 years in their program. It's an unfair advantage against a freshman in their eyes. Google NCAA LSDBi and research the delay enrollment rules on that website

@@dylanmanuel7808 and also research Collclubsports. They don't care how old you are as long as you have college eligibility left to play. BYU-Idaho Sports you don't need College eligibility. A good option if you need game film fast. Also look up San Diego Mesa Junior College student-athlete handbook. Read it religiously, that handbook is going to get you right.
