Mike, I haven’t even started watching the video yet but I will comment anyway and say that you owe no explanations to anyone on this topic. For all we know, or need to know, you hit the lottery -or- received an inheritance from a rich uncle -or- did it the old fashioned way…you earned it. Enough said.

LoL my Rich Uncle Tom Morgan who lives in North Whales Pa ! Admitted he stole money from me and the rest of my family in an inheritance! From Frank Morgan Estate ! Tom stole over $1 million dollars from the Estate! Tom in 2019 told me he stole the money at lunch at Bonnet lane restaurant in Abington Pa ! He stole the money via CDs and Bonds! He counted some but not the bulk! Why Tom Morgan told me not sure! But it's been 35 years and The statute of limitations ran out! But Tom Morgan is a Thief ! And he won't give back the money he stole! Life goes on !!!! Tom Morgan is an evil person! The really crazy part is Tom Morgan not only stole the money but he was already Rich from his Real Estate empire he built in Willow Grove Pennsylvania! I guess money can make some people turn evil or cruel ! I kinda feel sorry for people like Tom Morgan! And in any Estate always ask for a Accounting of the Estate you only have 2 years! After that your Beat

Mike I am a subscriber. My 85 year old Mom likes your videos. There are several things that tell me who you are and not just what you do. You are a very good equipment operator. You have a passion for firewood and firewood operations. You love your family. You are a giving person. You love your country. Most of all you love your Lord. All these things are obvious to me without you saying a word. You have a great channel.

Gotta add that we are anxious for Eva to post a new video, would be really awesome to see Dad & Daughter working through a simple woodworking project with Dad passing along some of the easy to learn tips n tricks to building something to be proud of!

I know first hand what you are talking about with regards to how difficult it is to grow a KZfaq channel. I started my KZfaq channel the first week that KZfaq went live with their service. I found it very useful to post videos of my daughter's vocal performances as well as old video clips of my band, The Gringos. I know the power of social media because the band is back in the business of writing, recording, and producing new music. All of it is released on KZfaq and it takes a great deal to get people to view what you post, let along have them subscribe to the channel and LIKING your videos. With music there is an additional element and that is one's taste in music itself. Love your channel and what the Morgan family stands for. I use your channel as an example of how to use music effectively and properly when making a video. Bravo!!!

Thank you for saying all of that Mike. I was a photojournalist at a local TV station for 22 years and I "retired" and started a channel. I've been inspired by you and others and it's very encouraging to hear how hard you worked to get where you are. Thanks again!

Mike, another fine video! I havent been on the channel like a lot others. From the time i found your channel, to watching Hunter in the videos, and how much you and Melissa pour your hearts into your work and family, you guys are ama, ing! I was fortunate to meet you and Melissa and person and knew you would be the same down to earth, hard working people that would do anything for your family. It is great to see how much your channel has grown from where you were and all of that is the hard work and deddication you put into it. You really don't own anyone an explanation, but since day 1 of knowing you guys you share your family with us. Because of your channel and a few others, although i dont have you tube channel, i have grown my firewood business. Keep up the great work and look forward to more videos especially with huntman in them.

FYI, I know I made a rude comment below. I do that. More importantly back around 2017 I did a search for Kubota 3301's, you had a 3309. I've watched you ever since, I always hit the thumbs up button before ever watching. The reason is because it's hard to come across normal good people it's now starting to seem. Y'all are good people, we work hard around here but it's the 9 to 5 thing (4:15 to 5::00 actually) regular jobs and/but still kicking. I am so glad I invested in that tractor, it sits in the garage mostly so it's safe, it is handy when I need it. We live just west of you guys in Kent, OH, in a swamp so to say....it's very beautiful with what we've done with the property. Of course, we can't tame the swamp...No one can.

I didn't finish my 1st comment so I'll try again. As far as how you pay for things, that's yours to decide. I think you worked hard in past, earned a good wage, invested wisely, been fortunate and now it's paying off--good on you!! Lots of people think that if you only work hard, you'll get what you want out of life. Not always true. I started working at 10 mowing lawns, collecting newspaper to sell & pop bottles for 2 cents a piece (remember that). From there working in a bowling alley chasing pins, fast food restaurants where I met my future wife. Talk about GOOD fortune. Finally my 1st real job at $2.90 hr--wow!! Married my high school sweetheart and 3 yrs later a son. Always had a job, worked for 19 yrs until I came back from PA on a buying trip and was told I wasn't needed anymore. Had a new job in 3 days in another state. Stay there for 4 years and started my own business and loved it and finally started making some good money. All was well until the China invasion with cheap products. Thousands of hard working people in NC, building furniture out of work and so was my business. Logs, veneer just stopped. That was hard but then my high school sweetheart of almost 32 years up and died on me at the age of 47!!! Things no longer mattered. So when I say that hard work doesn't get you everything in life, I know what I'm talking about. No one worked harder than I did to support my family. Without GOOD LUCK or Fortune, hard work, is no guarantee of success. As far as You Tube for you, you continue putting out good quality videos that your viewers enjoy and you will be on as long as you want. Even in today's screwed up world QUALITY still counts. You are doing what a lot of us consider to be quality. I know this is nothing but rambling, but its just me being me. Until your next video take care of yourself and your family.

I totally appreciate the frankness about what it took to grow your channel. We're just dabbling in it for the time being, and really aren't in a position to put out videos on a very regular basis -- would like to eventually have a bit of supplemental money once we retire, but aren't counting on it, for sure! One thing I've discovered is that, even with unsophisticated video and editing, it takes a surprisingly long time to get something ready to upload. Thanks again for the quality videos, and congrats on everything you guys have been able to get from KZfaq.

Hey Mike, you do you buddy. I started looking at KZfaq video's at my son's suggestion. I'd call and ask if he knew this or that and his answer was always "check out KZfaq dad, I guarantee someone has made a how to video on it". I'm a retired construction guy and my life is pretty centered around the house. My routine doesn't vary too much, I sit in my office in the afternoons and see what my little KZfaq community is up to. I started watching your stuff about 2 years ago and its become habit. I have my fav's and you guys are certainly one of them. Also I don’t have the equipment nor the funds or sponsors . I do have a 20x24 ft cabin I built and some hunting blinds so that I can hunt comfortably. We have done this a year and a half and are growing just like you did in views and subscribers. We also do it because we love it but have the same mind set about it as you. Also couldn’t agree more about collaborating, I love to collaborate but only with people I feel comfortable with. I have met and talked with Let’s Dig 18 And Dirt Perfect And Diesel Creek and now C and C Equipment and one of your viewers mentioned you in a comment in one of my videos. Thanks for info. I recently took a 7 dollar course to find out it was just a different type of MLM scheme. There is nothing that replaces hard work and you have put it in. I am currently struggling with balancing my peace with making videos. My “morning work” is sacred to me and I find when I invite a camera into the equation, it takes away from my productivity and overall satisfaction with the work I’m doing. So I’ve compromised and have planned to do one video every two weeks and see where that goes. And of course plan on not being as productive and making sure I set aside a few hours for editing and the videos don’t just sit and rot on my hard drive.

Quick electrician tip, in the video I noticed when you were holding the Simply Safe device, there was a 2 gang switch box in the background missing a screw. Pick up a container of matching colored plate screws at your local electrical supply house and replace any missing screws or ones with paint knocked off. Make sure you turn all the slots in the screw head the same direction. You'll be surprised how good it looks. I've learned alot from watching your channel and enjoy your videos and the family. Definitely out of my comfort zone. Haven’t got around to actually talk on my channel yet. Most of my viewers come from the US, so I probably should speak English if I do. Hi Mike & Melissa: Good video. I am 76 year old small acreage owner on an island on west coast Canada & have been watching your channel for about 4+ years (RK sponsorship). I have learned so much from your channels about the use & handling of the variety of equipment from chain sawing, property care & maintenance, building techniques to exercising techniques.😂 I love the dogs, seeing the children growing up & especially seeing Hunter evolving into participation in the activities around the property. Going forward I'd suggest doing much the same with the "how I do it" content, some more detail on the the target shooting & new weapons & obviously from the hits, more input from "girl next door / super model Eva showing young people a better side to growing up. Also would be nice to see more of Levi & family - i.e. does he operate the equipment? More with the young people will likely broaden your audience reach. Best wishes for continued success. BILL

Great video. Man i thoroughly enjoyed splitting wood with my boys when they were little. They learned what hardwork was at a very very young age. Running a 40 ton log splitter at age 8&9, not to shabby. Well with dads help naturally. Had many ropes tied to the truck and when dad said "go" man they went and down the trees went. Oh yes many of them. And they worked with me thriugh florida summers for many yrs. It was juat extra money for us, definitely not my day job but was good times with the boys growing up. I have to say a fire isnt a fire without the smell of the wood so i probably wont buy a smokeless firepit, they are prettt neat though

We have been with you & your family from around the time you contracted with Rural King and we have been daily watchers ever since. Heck, Crystal and I were the outtro for episode #686! We sent you the Indiana license plate with the Indianapolis 500 logo. At this point in the game, even though we've not met in person, we feel like we are familiar friends stopping by for a visit every episode. We have some property that we can stay at when we are not working at our day jobs, it's much like your West Virginia land. It's our get away destination and respite. We care for the land, we take what the Lord gives us with blown down or dead trees and turn it into firewood that we give away to friends or sell to further fund our time there. My point is, you live your life your way and share it to all the world to see. We don't care how you pay for what you have and what you do, so long as you keep doing it as long as KZfaq will let you! We are like minded people and thank GOD to know there are still others in this crazy world like us. Now, about that episode that convinced Crystal she needs her own excavator..... Much Love and Blessings, John & Crystal from the hills of Owen County, Indiana

Mike as a long time subscriber and newby on how to make a comment, I will say that I have enjoyed your videos to the max and have learned a ton of useful information and even skills . As an old heavy equipment operator I can't but help being envious of your ability and dexterity at operating the equipment you have, you have a surgeons skill and I am totally impressed. I love your family, your work ethic, and the love, caring and pride you have of you family because it shows. Keep those videos coming and may God bless you and yours.

Hi Mike and family, I have been watching pretty much from the beginning. I started watching because you and your family seemed pretty much like most working Americans. People I could relate to. Watching you and Melissa work your two RK tractors.. your channel has grown and you guys have worked hard for, it so I do congratulate you all for that. I think the subscriber was trying to tell you that it is a little harder to feel a connection to you guys. Your wealth while hard earned is well more than a lot of us can ever relate to.

Good video. You explained things without going into money details. I agree that you have to love telling a story by video and let the success or not come. Follow your own path. I have been subscribed for years and I first came across your channel looking for chain saw instruction. Thanks for your videos and I wish you the best. God Bless

G’Morn’n Mike, congrats on your continued success. You’re a natural, you are confident and comfortable in front of the camera. Add to that, interesting variety of content which keeps things from getting boring. It’s quite evident that you have an excellent head for business, if from nothing more than your understanding that KZfaq may not be around in perpetuity, at least in its current form. Bless’ns to you and your family, Tedd

Hi Mike and family. I do agree with a lot of what upu say. Do what you like doing, and that what's count. There's a lot of jealous people out there which are chronic complainers, they would complain even if you hung with a bran new rope. That's what makes the world go round. I like your approach, don't let it bother you. Your videos are very interesting, I look forward to seeing them everyday. You have good mind for this, and to keep moving forward is a brilliant way to keep people on the edge of their seats. You say that you're not an expert, heck you would have to live 2 lifetimes to be an expert on everything that you're capable of doing. Also you're a very good operator, and easy on machinery, that goes hand in hand as far as I'm concerned. Looking forward to seeing more videos of and your family. Have a day

I totally understand that you have to grow your channel and i have been here for the entire time. With that said, i also understand the viewers who liked the old school OWTM. I still today go back and watch the older videos from time to time and enjoy them the second, third or fourth time as much as i did the first time. I loved the old intros and the viewer outros. Your product review videos ( especially the samjunk washing machine lol ). I admit, i miss the old OWTM videos but i still thoroughly enjoy the videos of today and actually get disappointed when you dont post. Enough of me rambling. Stay well, stay safe and yall HAVE A DAY

Your channel is where it is because of your dedication and hard work Mike. Add to that a great partner, close knit family, and a few dogs and you have a winning combination. Don't waste a minute of your time explaining your success to those jealous of it. It's been great to see you and your family get ahead. You definitely deserve everything you have and best of luck in the future.

This vid came up in the qeue. Computers are always so straightforward! - With Axl, I can feel your pain. I had a golden. She came from a puppy mill. For the first year I had her, she chewed up EVERYTHING. I got to thinking maybe she's lacking something in diet. Minerals would be easiest to start with, so I added about a quarter teaspoon of TM salt to her food. That was it! From then on, she only chewed up stuff in the truck when she was all hyper about a ride. Much more peaceful in the house. Best dog I ever had!!
