The houses in Malta are beautiful, many tourists when they visit Malta for holiday are mesmerized by the Maltese architecture and in this video im happy to show you a house tour, what is behind the door of a Maltese house.

Traditional Maltese houses are the best to live in. Not only are the tiles and traditional features beautiful, but also because of the super high ceilings.

I lived in Malta as an Erasmus student and I was in love with the houses. Also, the people, are so peaceful, calm and religious. Churches were full of people on Sundays. The apartment is so beautiful and you are lovely, Alex. I can see how you enjoy making these videos. Thank you

Church are full with people ( its a sign of backwardness ) why would anyone worship a Jewish rabbi called Jesus ( even We Jews don’t worship him or any rabbi ) this just shows us how people can be brain washed and this is sad and dangerous .

I love the architecture in Malta. Everything looks so old and vintage. I especially love those wooden indoor balconies you can find in Valletta. I honestly hope I can buy an apartment there one day and spend my retirement in Malta!

Wow Alex! 😍🤩 The house was full of character. I adore the Maltese tiles, I always love to take photos of any I spot! The decor was so tastefully done with the beautiful antique furniture and that view at the end was to die for! 🌊⛵️☀️🇲🇹

This house is gorgeous 😍 I love it!! The kitchen is so pretty!! How much are they selling it for? Thank you, Alex. Please do more inside house tours and don't forget the rooftop terraces, they offer magnificent views of the island. I took a picture of the sunset from our rooftop flat and it was spectacular.

That's what quality is about: made of true materials, with high workmanship and traditional knowhow. Maltese craft is of high quality and has remain with time. Can you make a video about the special stones they use please. Looks like the pyramids.

BEAUTIFUL HOUSE 🏡 - ALL PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED WITH SUBTLE MODERNISATION 😲. Alex your 💯 % right, that view from the balcony is worth €1M 🌊 🛳 and I say the house is worth double that. The floor tiles are cement tiles and they are handmade one by one. They are still being made today.

That is a terrific looking home, Alex--thanks for showing its interior. I noticed an AC/heating unit in one room in the dining room--are there more such as in the bedroom? The price seems sooooo reasonable particularly with that show-stopping view! Dreams.

Older houses do not have closets. Usually people have wall to wall wooden wardrobes.

Thank you, Alex! So, short of contacting you via email, can you give us a rough idea of a) the sq. meter size of this maisonette and the general price range...just for comparison? Also, a question for Malta residents in similar dwellings: yes, the walls are amazingly solid...but how about that ceiling? How much space between it and the floor of the dwelling above? Or so you hear every creak and squeak from every step your upstairs neighbors make?

Normally older houses have a 16 stone (1 stone is about 10inches in height) height. Stone width is 9 solid inches.

@@fontana03 Right, it's not the stone walls I'm curious about. Those, I can understand, are quite thick. It's the ceiling/upper floors of those older, multi-story homes...which APPEAR to be wood joists and planking. But I could be wrong.

From my experience and I've lived in several different locations and types of housing in Malta and Gozo. Because the ceilings are so high what we did was lower them a few feet and also insulate them not only because you can at times hear people moving about, not much mind you but also because of heating and cooling the house. And a plus is that now we also have that space which we use for a storage area. We bought a shell apartment mainly because we wanted to insulate ceilings and all the outer walls. I don't know why more people don't do that here, it makes a huge difference especially since it's very humid in this country and in winter is when you feel the humidity the most in my opinion.

This is a renovated old house. Not a typical old style village core house. And unfortunately these old house are disappearing and being replaced by blocks of concrete pigeon holes. And definately not all have those views. You're not showing a typical one. Just another advert !
