The best way to fix this NIL problem is for the NCAA to revert back to the lawsuit Ed O'Bannon filed in the 90s over the EA Sports NCAA Basketball video game deal. The NCAA and/or Universities should share the revenue they make off of the athletes. Instead of sharing that revenue, they allowed the athletes to seek out their own deals. NCAA and the Univerties are still the problem.

How much are the professional teams putting into the NIL collectives? I would like to see a landscape analogous to the soccer feeders in Europe where the clubs are major contributors to both the athletic and basic educational development of the players. Why should the Bears not be NIL supporting athletic programs they benefit from? Most major corporations are endowing scholarships in fields germane to their missions. IBM supports scholarships and development in cyber; Johnson Was in biochemistry; Peat Marwick in accounting. Does the Washington Commanders football club put any money into NIL anywhere?

I am begrudgingly accepting the fact that NIL is probably here to stay, but I think anyone accepting NIL money should forfeit their athletic scholarship. Give that money to someone who actually wants to go to school to learn.

Calling for NIL reparation's for all collegiate athletes, who played prior to NIL. These poor kids only received a Full Academic Scholarship, Free Room and Board, all the free food one could ever want, free gym membership with personnel trainer and popularity on campus. We demand 30k for each year played, plus a Honda Accord......... Were taking it to Congress, they'll fix it.
