I don’t see them as enemies, I see them as people who needs the light of Jesus Christ.

As a Spirit filled Christian, I have no person I hate. Love has swallowed my heart, Praise God... no room for hate.

Thank you Dr. Stanley. We're seeing an increase of Christians who "love" Jesus but hate his teachings. The second greatest commandment was to love our neighbors. And we must love our enemies like we love our neighbor. I'm going to support leaders who preach this message and move away from those who promote hatred for our neighbors and enemies. Praise Jesus Christ

We love them because Christ loved us while we were still His enemies.

Well a niece of my wife’s destroyed my wife’s family by accusing me of something horrible. Sadly there are innocent people who are the ones who are suffering the most. But she doesn’t care. My sister in law and her husband threw my under the bus . They supposedly apologized but my wife is standing by me. Relationship over. Too dangerous for me to go near them. I don’t need more accusations. Trying to forgive, and making slow progress but will take a long time. Even when that happens, I still will not be involved with them ever again. The pain is so intense and sharp. But it is what it is.

I've been wrestling with "loving your enemies" for the longest time. Do I love my enemies? No, I do not. How do I love people who are deliberately trying to destroy me? How do I love people who enjoy hurting, bullying, harassing and torturing me? How do I love people who spread malicious gossip about me? How do I love people who constantly do these things to me? How? I feel like I'm fighting against evil itself...

All too often , saying I love you to someone is cause I enjoy the bennifets of her ( my wife) ... or God ! I don't think my love is really that deep !... except when it comes to meeting or getting my needs met ... please God help me to be able to love as you do ! Yes ofcourse I live my friends and family.... but after real examination of myself... im actually shallow compared to what He ( Jesus) wants me to be 😥

Toughest commandment from Christ. I try my best to obey His command. I try to love others and look at others as God would. I think God does respond strongly when we offer someone true kindness and loving gestures and they respond maliciously or hatefully. It isn’t easy sometimes and it really can hurt. One of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s greatest sermons is “loving your enemies”. I am trying to have faith that there is something beyond my understanding as to why God asks us to be obedient and respond with love in the face of hatred. Jesus established a new definition of greatness when He said, “and the greatest among you shall be your servant”. The motto of my high school class? “Men for others” and “ad majorem del gloriam” (for the greater glory of God). The Kinghts Templar still exist and we are soldiers for Christ. Our obedience to Christ the King cannot be questioned. Deus vult

What a message for today. How people live in sin, then say God says we should love them and thier ways. Obviously that is not the Jesus teaches us. Amen pastor.

God said to pray for your enemies. I have done it and God took care of that ,now another has enter my world on my job. I'm fighting this all over again, but through prayer like I did the first one. I'm praying and knowing that God is with me and he is going to take care of this as well. I'm be completely done with this person. I like a peaceful life, which I do have outside my job, but by the grace of God, a change going to come for me, because I have did what he wants me to do and that is pray and give it to him.

She belittles me She said God hates me and I'm a sin She said I'm a terrible person She's clearly selfish and only cares about her life and opinions... When I disagree with her she attacks me and pushing her opinion on me after I said stop and I'm not interested
