I am 67 and will never be too old to get something out of Gary’s videos. “Too old” is when you refuse to learn anything new.

I find it absolutely amazing that in every video and book you create, I realize I am like you in so many ways. Ever since I can remember, when I hangout with my best friends, I have always wanted to get to know who they know and befriend those they know because what's important to them is important to me. I've gained so much by knowing all these people, that I call them family too. I don't care if it's extreme but I would gladly give my heart and soul for each one of them. I love them each equally and would give my life for them. My friends and family, I know I'm quiet and don't talk much, when I'm not speaking I'm listening and watching. I know when you're tired or distressed, I know when you're frustrated or awkward, I know what you've worked so hard for, and all your successes I applaud, I am so happy for you my friend, and I am so happy you're struggle through the challenges of life have made you stronger, and you know better off what you're needs and wants are, what's necessary and what's a necessity right now. You're strong and blessed and beautiful. I love everyone I come across who I recognize has worked hard to get to where they are now. You my friend are a beautiful fighter. All I know is, everyone has a story, a background, and dreams and goals, and each one is important. Life is long but so very short. Take it seriously but at the same time, know when to rest, and know to get right back up again so you can achieve the next level in your life to a greater understanding of who you are and who you choose to be. Tusen takk! I appreciate your videos and all!

When I managed a hair salon, one of the most important lessons I learned was about motivators. You would think money motivates everyone, that couldn’t be more WRONG! It’s a motivator to some, but not all or even most. You have to find what their personal motivation is. And the second most important lesson I learned…what people really desire from their leadership is to feel cared for and heard. If they know you care and you listen, you will have a loyal team member who will have your back.

Yep. Where I work I not only met, ate lunch with, and talked with the president of the company. He really really cares about ALL his employees because even the young or old employees may come up with an idea to make him more or save him more money, or stay relevant in the ever changing business world.

I work for a corporate company right now. When the higher ups visit us I always notice they never make eye contact with entry and mid level employees. They don’t care to k ow them. Management is just as bad, because they know the names, but they don’t know their passions or what drives them.
