In this video we will look at how we can make our cucumbers stronger using yeast and lye.
If you use the yeast from the soil, it will be a good stimulation for the plants, it will act as a driving force. It accelerates the uptake of other elements from the ash. You can also watch our video on what the bacteria in yeast do and how to make a microbial liquid fertilizer for a very different fertilizer.
First, add 2 tablespoons of sugar to some warm water and put 10 grams of yeast on it. Stir and wait a while for it to activate.
In the meantime, put a jar of ashes from half jars in about 4 liters of water, wait two or three hours. We will use half of it now and I will tell you when to use the other half.
There is not only potassium in lye. It also has different amounts of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. While these affect the revival of the plant, they also prevent the fruit from falling.
As usual, we first make a preliminary irrigation with clean water, then we irrigate at 1 liter per root.
After 2 days of doing this process, we will add the remaining 2 liters of lye to 8 liters of water and water it again. You can use only lye or only fermented water as top fertilization. Make an irrigation with only lye or only fermented water every 15 days. You can mix it with nettle fertilizer, celandine fertilizer or goosefoot fertilizer. You can even put enzymes in it. You can make such a mixture every 15 days, and a week after that, you can irrigate with only fermented water.
