My definition of a date is when a real MAN does the old fashion/gentleman way of taking you out to dinner or doing something creative, courts you and pays the tab. These days most guys love to say let's hang out? Let's go to lunch? let's do something other than calling it a DATE to test and see if you are worth spending money on later. I got so much respect for Jeannie Mai. Most people (especially girls) would be embarrassed to tell that story (because I felt embarrassed and was cringing while listening) but she completely owns up to her regretful/naïve past and brings a level of vulnerability on The Real that none of the other girls do (at least not on that level). The reason why I connect with her so much is because I have LOTS of cringe-worthy embarrassing stories myself, and I hope I'm given the platform and will be able to share some of them because speaking your truth helps others feel more comfortable speaking theirs. Somebody once said that Adrianne seems like the type of girl who likes for men to get into fights over her and I think there is some truth to that. I have to agree with the other commenters that Jeannie's story seems a little made up. The guy kept vomit on his car until the next day? Thats seems weird he wouldn't clean it right after he drops you off. On the bright side, Tamar and Jeannie really seemed to be getting along well. That makes me happy :) Also, I don't think it's a date every time the guy pays. Some of y'all read to much into their stories! I legally couldn't drive until I was 17/18. However, anytime I desperately had to go somewhere (as in sneaking out like most teenagers do) I just took one of my parent's or sibling's cars. I knew how to drive by 13.. By 14 I was going several places by myself only when I had to. On dates however, there was no way I could do that because I always came back late and someone would notice that their car was missing lol

I know what Jeannie is talking about when she says your body is drunk but your mind knows what's happening but you still can't control anything in your body.. I'm 18 and I got drunk for the first time a few months back and it was the worst. My maximum is also two drinks.. well probably a cup and a 1/2.. Loni you're right.. Don't drink while you're underage.. It's not cool. It was probably the most scariest experience in my life. I still can't remember everything that happened that night. I woke up the next morning throwing up and I just sat in the shower with the water running all over me.. I'm never ever drinking again.

This was me about a month ago. I went on this "date" with a guy, and I was teasing him about how he never taught me how to drive. (I've NEVER driven before up until then) He offered to let me drive a block away from my house and I accepted. It ended with us having a near death experience. Overall it was an awkward platonic first date.

So a friend I have a crush on asked me to hang out, so we went out and hung out and it was pretty romantic tbh so I'm not sure if it was a date or not but when it came to the tab, I don't need a man to pay for me so I asked him if we could spilt it.. So Many inconsistencies in Jeanies Story... 1.First She said she was underage and couldn't drive, but then at the end she said she drove to his work 2.Then she said He came to pick her up for the date, and then later she said he was asking her where she lives when he was dropping her back off, if he picked you up in the first place he would know where you live already 3. And she said that she threw up all in his car, and she went to his work to clean it the next morning...why would he leave throw up in his car over night without cleaning it?? 4.She also said that she had just met this guy and then they went on a date..How would she know when he was working?? Im pretty sure you don't tell someone you just met your work schedule. 5.And lastly if he was inside at work how would she have opened his car in the parking lot to start cleaning his car

My worst date: (if you guys care) On my 19th birthday a friend of a friend ask me out to dinner and a play. Went to dinner I thought it was going great. After dinner he gave me both tickets to the play and told me if I wanted to go, I should but he would not be joining me. Yes, he left me right there and then. When I asked why, he said his ex girlfriend called during dinner and he's going to chill with her instead. I kid you not.

i have a boyfriend who i love dearly and me and my friend go out quite often, we go to the mall, movies, bar/lunch ect. its not an everyday thing but maybe once every 2 weeks or so. my boyfriend knows him and my friend knows that i have a boyfriend, he used to have a crush on me but its not like that anymore, he's my best male friend. we go out alone and nothing ever happens. we have fun. i consider that a date but not in a relationship type of way.
