I think this is true, but there is one little issue. It's actually difficult for both the male and female to be mutually confident in there fantasy. In other words she could be totally sexually attracted to you, but you are also seen as being above her league. So, she is sexually attracted to you but will reject you because the reality of banging a very attracted person puts pressure on her. With guys, they will get more awkward around the sexual tension with a hot woman. So I think mutual confidence is key here.
