How does a portable air conditioner work and how do you best seal a window with a Wood's Window Sealing Kit. How long before you go to bed should you start your AC? You can get answers to this and other questions here.

Purchased: August 2022 - still works GREAT! kzfaq.infoUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn I live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install.This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment.I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

The 'Shut the window' part conveniently is not fully shown, as the windows latch is where the vecro should pass across.

Why don't you make a version with an outlet AND and inlet-tube, all of the current ones draw warm air from the outside into the room making all of your products incredibly ineffective and any window seals make the whole room into a giant vacuum, it shouldn't be a hard thing to do since it's already been done on products sold abroad in America. I don't get why more effective units aren't made, BTU values are hollow when you take into account that a lot of external air is drawn into the room along with the cool air blowing out of the AC.

You mean "dual hose units? I agree, this is just stupid, and I have two of their units, a big and a smaller one for use this upcoming summer. Single hose is just an endless loop of exhausting warm air outdoors, creating a "low pressure champer" indoors, hence sucking hot air in through cracks in the house/apartment. Single hose units should be banned in favour of dual hose units (keeping air pressure at an equilibrium).
