Greetings from Sweden! 🇸🇪 This is such an interesting project to follow, and as a bit of sanitation nerd I especially appreciate that you took time to explain your choice of sanitation system and how it will work. I only have experience of sanitation systems in land, and I was wondering why you do not choose to separate black and grey waste water, but I guess that both your budget and the structure of the existing system in the light house limit your choices? I love the tempo and the way you edit your videos. To add interesting facts in writing during the time lapse is such an excellent idea! And that you integrated info about your sponsor as a part of the video, instead of showing a separate add from them, increased the overall experience. I've been longing for this video and I'm already longing for the next one! 🛁

We will put out a lot more this year. It is very expensive to do what we are doing and even more expensive to have a camera guy there and then all of the editing. As someone from the UK, where most if not all of our lighthouses are located on the coast, on cliffs or rock, it is strange to see yours right in the middle of the water. Gotta say I love it though - lighthouses are just so cool

@thelighthousecenters The parent company Zastava stopped making vehicles in 2017. The model that was sold as the Yugo in the U.S. was in production until 2008! The Yugo was pulled from the U.S. market in 1992. It's a shame because the drivetrain and all suspension are Fiat!

I hope you will preserve and restore the old interior that was there and not completely modernise it. I often see people who buy old buildings and they sadly remove all the historic interior and replace it with a modern one. Hopefully that isnt the case but anyway good luck.

For water pumping, I have built a sub $100 solar that runs years without maintenance and pumps more than a ton of water a day up 18 meters. The pump is from an RO water filter ($20). There's a float switch in the water tank. Solar panel(s), and an overpressure switch, also from an RO filter. To scale it, add another pump.

12:08 as someone that's 6'3" toilet height is definitely something I feel! Place I work right now all the toilets are so low to the ground it feels like my knees are above my ears....like who are all the midgets these things are being built for?! Looks great fellas❤ Me an my company been working on the Sandy Point Lighthouse lately. We did the complete roof, reframed it an added a metal roof. Replaced the 4 top windows (We made the windows by hand) Finished up all the trim/ an hardy board an facia. So cool working on the Chesapeake bay an seeing the crab an fisherman. LOL! When I was a kid I read a book called The Great Brain. It was set in the 1800s and this kid’s family was the first in the town to install a “water closet.” People came from all around to see it. So I guess installing a toilet can be a real dream, if you don’t have one 😂 Thanks for following!

In the beginning some of the negative comments bothered me and then I realized that there will always be a few trolls no matter what you do. We are saving lighthouses! And yet there are some people telling us to stop trying lol! Like your comment, most are overwhelmingly positive and that motivates us to keep going. We are just normal people with jobs and bills and families, giving everything we can to this project because we know it is a worthwhile thing to do. Thank you for the support! I hear ya! We are getting away from our regular jobs to do this full time this summer and then we will post a lot more. We are also negotiating a reality show and if that happens it will be great because we wont have to do any editing 😁 fingers crossed 🤞

The Tillamook Rock lighthouse on the Oregon coast is for sale and is in desperate need of some love. It is my Favorite Lighthouse and it has so much History attached to it. I qould love to see you guys restore it
