We use garlic powder to de-worm our sheep. We’ll be making garlic spray this summer. Great tip! PS music is a bit competitive with voice ❤

This helped big time , thank you for your video I even used it on my dogs and now they stay off of them. Flies were eating their poor ears up.

How do you use the garlic on your dogs? I am having a big issue with the flies attacking my dogs ears

@@alexanderariley5966 I mix it in with their food everyday a little bit. If you add just a little bit each day or at least every other day they can't even tell that they are eating it but then when they sweat it comes through their pores and then the fleas hate it in their hair. I just turned 50 years old this year and I have been doing it to my dogs for well over 30 years and it works I don't care what anyone says.

I am trying to figure out how to order the riomax products, but it seems it is only for large farms? Am I right?

Hey #BigKam, you are correct that Riomax® is designed for larger herds of cattle. The tubs are designed to be fed at 1 tub per 50 head for proper consumption. In this video, we are referring to it being fed in a supplement tub that would be out for the cattle 24/7. Hopefully that helps 🙂

Good question! Dogs definitely aren't our area of expertise. The garlic fly control mode of action would be the same, however, I have found several sources stating that garlic can be toxic to dogs and cause vomiting and/or diarrhea.

So if garlic repels flies but does not kill them this will only help the animal that is consuming the garlic. There are other products that kill or stop the reproduction of flies which reduces the overall population of flies on all animals not just what is consuming the product. It seems garlic will just make the fly problem worse for someone else since they are still reproducing & looking for a host. I think using garlic along with the other products that stop the life cycle of flies would be the best defense but using garlic alone does not seem like the correct answer to the fly problem, in fact it may make it worse overall.

What method do you suggest to kill them? Fogging? I can't speak for the video poster, but for myself the idea of this method is to not use a poisonous spray around my land.

We are waiting to hear what you suggest doing. She is simply saying it helps her animals.more than one because of how they give it to the animals. No way can it possibly make things worse like you said . I feed garlic to my dogs . I breed German shorthaired pointers an I never never have fleas and the flys hate it on my dogs !!
