So much of Liam's early experience of anime is the same as mine. I feel like the people who lived through the Cheese TV era know what I mean. Also, I reckon a lot of folks around our age (I'm 29) read all of Bleach, Naruto and One Piece because we needed more to read once we caught the anime bug. Websites like OneManga and Mangafox from back in the day come to mind. Great episode. Thanks guys!

my experience in anime, my first anime probably is dragon ball z and its on tv.. i also experience the anime episodes in 4 parts in youtube.. at that time i dont know the difference between anime and cartoon.. and so is everyone.. luckily its not like liam's story where anime=hentai but anime=cartoon in my childhood so even if you like anime in my highschool you would only look like childish instead of something else.. i got into onepiece because thats the reason i got friends in school.. there's someone in the school who proudly likes onepiece, and i know onepiece because i watch it a little in the tv.. after i got to talk to them i feel like i need to watch more of it so i can contribute in the conversation and thats the reason why i've become a fan of it.. at first its only to make friends but as i learn more of it, i love it now

I feel like I am one of the few people that liked One Piece more than Naruto or Bleach at the start. As a child, my mother and I watched the old Fantastic Four cartoon and I had a fascination with stretchy powers and Luffy makes Mister Fantastic look like child’s play.

I think a question you guys could start asking is "What do you think you'll be doing in 5 years from now? One Piece will be finished, so where does that leave your channel?". It could be a deep question but has the potential for some strong and diverse answers. The end of the story is gonna be here before we know it😭

Dude, Pokemon occupies the same weird space in my head where I have a hard time calling it anime. I think its just cause it was so popular and aired with other western cartoons that when I watched it as a kid I didn't even know anime existed and it was just another cartoon to me. Dragon Ball was actually the same way for me.

The attention span while consuming leaked scanlation feels very real to me just last chapter of One Piece. When the official dropped on Sunday, it felt like way too long since i already read the scan, it's very weird

I begin to wach one piece in ep 272 because I was downloading torrent for many anime and saw 👀 the torrent whit 20k seed I never seen that and because of that a saw one pice and after the water seven a begin to downloading one piece from ep 1 and it took 4 months all day downloading

Ohara's thumbnails are super weak to me. The colors pop but that's about it. I agree that law has some decent thumbnails, but i don't care about thumbnails much at all. A thumbnail may get me in the door but it absolutely won't keep me. From a viewers perspective, it's much easier to get a good thumbnail than to have entertaining content.
