I bought a fairly new used one 2013 for $5,989 12,000 miles and have had it a year no issues at all.Changed the oil and learned to change the tires if need be.Bought a spare and rim from amazon they have everything there.Love it would buy another in a heartbeat.Thank you for the fun video god bless ya allways.Fun road adventures.😊😆

You got a good deal. We paid about the same but it had more miles. I'd buy another in a heart beat too. Our AC went out. Bought the unit on eBay and had a local service guy put it in. Have to take the whole front piece off to change it. Also the right door pin broke. Bought that online too and fixed ourselves. We have over 60000 miles on "Zippy" now. You know the gas models are no longer being shipped to the US. Almost considering getting another gas model and storing it. :-)

You have read my mind when it comes to a dream rig. I have a Smart car and would love to live in a RV setup like you have. I have a large Winnebago motorhome, but I think your rig is much better. Very well made videos. Thank you for sharing them and please make more.

Hi and thanks for watching. We do love our set up and have a surprise to come next summer. We have been in for repairs for a month and will be leaving at the end of this week for the Heavy Duty Truck Rally in TN. So more videos to come. BTW, check out Idaho Totes. They have one for a Smart Car.

Aren’t series 2 and later Smart cars too long to legally put on sideways? The first ones were under 8.5’, but yours is 8’10”. Theoretically, you need a permit for that extra 4” (and I do realize that both your mirrors and your awnings exceed 8’6”, but they aren’t a car.

You are correct. Has never been a problem even when stopped by DOT. We aren't worried about it.
