Every star orbits the center of their galaxy in a similar way. Alien species of a different planet in a different star system may have the exact same understanding of how difficult it is to detect a planet in a star system, and the laws of relativity shows how a planet looks however many light years ago. So if aliens observed Earth from wherever they are, Earth looked like how it did thousands of years ago or millions of years ago. It may even look like how it did when Earth was uninhabitable for life billions of years ago.

Bassed of what we now about the universe so far I think it’s completely possible that our known universe could also be orbiting around with other equally large places in space. In fact without being able to see the universe from an outside perspective it’s impossible to tell just how fast we are moving relative to absolute stillness. I always find it fascinating just how slow and small we are.

Fun fact: Most solar systems in the universe, are binary systems meaning a solar system consisting of two stars and/or even more than 2 stars 🤗 Which luckily, our solar system has just one, which is our beloved sun. But it could've also turned atleast into a binary one, with Jupiter being that "failed star" as it had and still has to this day, all of the necessary components and what not to make it burn bright like our sun. Which then i don't think that Earth would have turned into a habitable planet as due to it's then close proximity to double stars, it would basically turn into a planet such as Mercury or Mars, one that wouldn't have any atmosphere whatsoever. And also it and all of em other planets and moons would be rotating two stars and thus making it real hard for Earth to be in that sweet rotational spot, also known as the "Goldilocks zone" which would have put it in that exact range of distance where it could maintain right temperatures for water to remain liquid then to be able to sustain life.. So that would've been impossible if our solar system was a binary one, which actually we should deem ourselves real lucky to have gotten this chance and actually thank Jupiter for keeping it's cool and not turn into the sun's twin 🤣 orelse babye Earth and babye life 😭🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
