Hello. My husband was approved for his permanent residency last week by the officer at the US embassy in his country. He also received a white document stating that he was approved. Fast forward one week and we tracked his passport online and now it states as administrative processing. Why would this happen?

So, how do you know where the case went after the postal service received it. So you can do your case look up. If you get two letters two different locations like Texas or Vermont. Which one is it to do your case lookup?

It depends if your receipt number starts with vsc its in the vermont service center, if it starts with IOE it was filed online

Hello there, i am an h2a worker here in the philippines since 2015 and i already have been interviewed and approved at the embassy by a consular officer however after a day the embassy sent me an email that my approval has been temporarily refused for the reason under 221g of NIA.and they need me ti send me a letter for another instruction to follow up on my case.my question is,that,is it really how the embassy does nowadays because this is the first time since 2015 that has happened to me..is it even legal for them to take back the decision during the interview?ple advice.thank you

I was told that they go into a computer system and can be moved around at random depending on the work load at the offices. My wife and step daughter cases started out in the Nebraska office then got moved to California. So the original process time we were told was 7.5 to 13 months the it went to 12 to 16.5 months now we've been told 15 to 19.5 months. This is all a bunch of bullshit
