He got in the water from our beach. A bizarre day. My buddy spotted his clothes . The search concentrated for the most part on the shoreline . I couldn't understand why the helicopter didn't cover the whole bay. I asked him a few days later how ye wasn't spotted, he said maybe that the rescue guys thought his mop of hair in the water was seaweed. Nuts 😂

In the North Sea the sharks are tiny dogfish types so nothing to worry about unless you're less half the size of a hobbit

Yeah its 100% english but 200% irish acceht which could cause difficulties Hes got that like old fashioned stereotypical irish accent, not the more conor macgregor/ colin farrell type one

He’s from County Tyrone, I forget where exactly but his accent is unique from that area. Accents throughout Ireland vary greatly.

Heavily put on accent, he wasn't as broad when I spoke to him, after the frostbit "incident". I do wonder how much his stunt cost the Irish tax payer for his rescue. And recovery of his boat that he forgot to tie up? But he would tell you he "swam" out there!

You're not wrong. This is because of the history of Northern Ireland and the Ulster Scots dialect, an accent made up of English and Scottish migrants who came to Ireland in the 17th Century.
