Great point on how if u draft rb early u can’t detour for elite te or qb making elite rb strategy almost dependent on more so Late te and QBs hitting over the elite running back doing their thing

I’m curious if Billy and team are able to determine the point at which the bottom row success flips. If RB24 was going in round 16, would it make sense to be in the higher tier of RB draft capital?

What’s nice about elite QB is that you can still get some chances on them later in Kyler and Daniels. My dream build is a hyper WR focused room where you get Bijan, Hall/Gibbs, Achane, WR, elite TE, WR, Kyler if he’s there or WR, then WR basically the rest of the draft, with detours for Daniels and Bowers if you want. Do a 2-3-11-2 build with a few certain vet WRs in early picks and going full rookie and second year with upside WR later. Sure it’s likely to bust, but if it hits, it realllllllllly hits.

BbM4 chart looks like CMC on top row and Kyren on bottom row. Curious what that looks like if exclude teams that took CMC and Kyren.

Largely agree with CMC but Kyren wasn't drafted for most of the summer so he can't drive that much of a boost.

Top row is largely a CMC legendary season thing for sure but it shows that the play was to tack on another, create an advantage, then draft less instead of trying to get into a middle/balanced RB build. That bottom row is a bunch of guys. Deeper in the draft it was Mostert, Achane, Kyren, Jerome Ford, Gus Edwards, Chuba, etc. and those teams were often anchored by a DMont, Kamara, Conner, etc.

This Data gets completely skewed by just a couple guys, what this data tells us is which guys had a terrific season not that a guy selected here is ideal or to select this many guys here Etc A good example is Kyren last year which completely skewed the data to make it look like taking really late running backs is the optimal strategy.

Kyren was drafted in less than 20% of BBM drafts. It was mostly that a huge volume of late backs were really good last year. Mostert, Achane, Kyren, eventually Chandler and Zamir and several others.
