Yes, I use the roller first, then groovewasher after and it really helps prepare for a thorough cleaning. Great product.

With your collection, you should really check out the Record Doctor. I bought one this year with some Amazon gift cards, and it's the best vinyl related purchase I ever made. The records come out squeaky clean in only a couple minutes and the best part is, with the vaccum they're dry and ready to play immediately. I always hated having to dry the records with the Spin Clean and the Record Dr really solves that.

I just picked up the project vc-s2 alu and it blows my record doctor out of the water. Auto rotating platter and the vacuum has more suction and is have the noise.

@@VinylNerdDesign what can I say? Thinning out the collection on discogs has it's perks. In my experience it was worth it to upgrade the bearing on the record doctor

@@ganonkenobi I did update the bearing and it was definitely worth it. I'm really just jealous - If had the cash burning a hole in my pocket I definitely would have gone for the Project

I have one and will use on new records that are lightly covered in debris as well as other records I have that have light dust and such on them before playing. Definitely like this product. Thanks for reviewing.

Be sure to go over the label too. I have this one and a turntable lab one. They both work but the TTL one generates a bunch of static where this one doesn't
