Whatever form these moments take, one thing is certain - they don’t present themselves that often. But when they do - if they’re seized - they’re capable of changing lives forever. Now for most people, these unforgettable landmark instances are fleeting, they simply can’t be savoured for long enough.
But in the strange case of Owen “ODPixel” Davies, he couldn’t wait for his moment to be over.

@@sohaylemacauna3483 Nah. Ceb was on Alliance at the time. They played in the same tournament (C9 kicked Alliance out of the lower bracket), but not in this game. If you're interested, you find the tournament (StarLadder 12) on Liquipedia, this was the 2nd game of the first series in the first group stage of EU+CIS.

I remember watching that C9 vs SFZ game, took a nap when EE was hitting the 2nd rax since I thought the game was over, and woke up to see the game still going on. What a ride.

I've played dota more than 15k hours,watched every TI from the Navi's era, to Chinese era to Europe's Era for strategies, drafting, hero plays, team plays and many more. And I have the privelage of replaying the game more than once to understand what's happening in the game and.... This man Raps about it. LIVE. You can't be a commentator THIS good without loving the game you're commentating.

As i see a C9vsSFZ game i cant stop myself from telling you the joke from russian cast of that game. It was around 160 minutes in when a guy sends a meme to a caster through twitter. It can be translated as: Watching this game - made me hungry. Wife bring me a supper. Before the start of game i was single. So this game was so memorable that i rewatch it once every like 1-2 years just to remind me of that clown fiesta.

Watching the game live, when it already passes the 200 min mark the game was breaking, that made me almost laugh every teamfight that happens cause it was chaotic

the first series he casted had bigdaddy on c9 roster , and 3 and 4 years later , both the of the international grandfinals he had the chance to cast were won by the same dude bigdaddy - nota1l :) ( irrelative but a beautiful coincidence). huge respect to ODpixel for all what he's done through the years, and I hope for even a brighter future for him.

OMG seeing N0tail on C9. Seems like it wasn’t that long ago. I’m glad OG was born after this and I’m glad Johan stuck to his ideals and didn’t give them up like Tal did. Definitely deserved to be one of the first 5 players to be two time Ti winners.

My favorite qualities of od are the genuine emotions he conveys and his grinding attitude. He wasn't handed his position because of people he knows or some type of deal or connection he worked for it and he deserved it. I was just starting dota around the scaryfacez and cloud9 game and I tuned in knowing very very little and purge and od became instant favorites of mine. So glad I've gotten to see od become a fan favorite

I remember watching TI 5 for the first time and then i read his name ODPixel and i was like.. who is this guy? and after i watched that game it burns a fire in my heart as if he was taking my excitement in the game and turn it into a commentary which made me enjoy the game even more and that's when i know he'll be great and the rest is history..
