@ImKibitz why not remove the people in small groups at a time, taking one portion of a neighborhood and removing them and then redeveloping and rezoning that small part and letting it rebuild back, I really dislike these crazy long time jumps where we the audience dont get to see your city running, developing, contracting and expanding... I really dislike; time skips, frozen time jumps, "boops" as you call them. - if you need to make it a timelaps put music over it and speed up time, but just show us the city running when ever possible. -- I only complain because I love your content otherwise and would want it improved, you are great..

15:07 roads like that when you change them IRL, sometimes one road becomes irrelevant but you want to keep it for historical reasons or whatever. So you turn it into a pedestrian pathway only and ban cars on it. They did that at my college campus when they moved the front of the campus closer to the road. Our campus used to have a ring road going all around the campus beforehand, but that just became a service road for college vehicles.

I still think that those areas underneath and abutting your overpasses are prime real estate to put in both required and/or upgrade infrastructure. e.g. Police stations, skate parks, carbon-offset trees, etc. None of those occupants will complain about noise or prettiness, but those assets pay back into all of the civic satisfaction scores.

For whatever reason my city never seems to get any high residential demand anymore. Even mid density. They all want low residential zone, for which there is little space left for that, and and never ending hunger for commercial and industry, despite there being a lack of workers to fully staff those places.

I built my first and main city on this map and ran out of squares to purchase! The population is over 400.000 and I have turned nearly all water into space to build on. Any ideas about what I should do to increase the population? I've built on pretty much every pixel on the available map. Also, what is up with not being able to buy every square on the map? That seems just weird and dumb from a developer's point of view.

Highways suck in CS2. Cars doesn't switch to right lane on time. They just pile up on the left lane at the intersection and block the traffic. I added a highway exit just at the connection point with the neighboring city. Cars still get stuck at the moment they spawn at the city border. Vehicle flow into the city from that direction is significantly dropped. Traffic system in this game is broken. Red lights, Roundabouts, nothing is working realistically.

The larger you build your road infrastructure in this style, the more hostile an environment you create to any kind of transport other than cars, and thus the more people switch to driving. So the more you build, the more cars get on the road, and the problem never goes away.

Gotta be honest. The amount of "Spam highways in pause mode" in this series is really excessive.. Maybe it's the game that hasn't much to offer, but man... Can we have some more realtime footage of how your city actually runs? How your citizens/traffic behave, etc?
