GSRDoug typically you dont measure in yards up north. but a simple conversion on google is all he needed. you're right though.

Hey, Jeremy just want to say thank you! I went out skating for the first time in almost 20 years today!!! I was never good at it as a kid, but your videos have made me want to try and learn! my goal which is a long term goal lol is to finally be able to go out and play some shinny! you have encouraged me to do so!!! just wanted to say thanks. just watched the video on stopping and now im waiting to go commit to properly learning how to stop!! you channels have encouraged me to not be discouraged that I never learned how to play hockey and skate as a kid, but that i am still able to do soo! From back of end zone to back of end zone football field is 120 yards (360’) from goal line to goal line 100 yards (300’)

Canadian fields are in Meters, we wanted to accommodate our American friends (and not have to convert Meters to Feet on the fly)

I'm shit at hockey but high school physics day 1 you learn about ballistics. 45 deg is optimal distance for the same initial velocity. 45 deg is probably not possible with a hockey shot but higher is going to go longer as long as you're not sacrificing velocity.

You will get more distance if you put the shooting pad on concrete where it won't absorb the stick's power.

I can probably shoot it about 225-250 feet, assuming not much roll. Can air shot into the net from center ice pretty easily most times. And I’d definitely be taking slapshots.
