I use the Full Swing Kit to demonstrate how far I hit My Golf Clubs and I also show YOU the value of knowing your distances and what to look for when calculating how far you hit each club.
I am new to working with the Full Swing Kit Launch Monitor so this was a valuable exercise for me in order to better understand my new irons. I was also able to identify if any of the lofts or lies were outliers when it comes to being PGA Tour level dialed.

You have really impressive driver and 3 wood speeds. Sasho McKenzie says the average driver club head speed to 7 iron speed is 1.18. You are blowing by that ratio by a good 10 mph. (I actually hit my irons roughly the same as you once accounting for my stronger lofts, but I’m getting 105 mph driver speeds on my best drives).

Great video as usual Trottie. Are you concerned about the 21 yard gap between your 7 and 6 iron?
@trottiegolf
@trottiegolf 10 ай бұрын
No because I think I hit some hold up 7's n 6's and some blasts. This edit took me a while as I ended up getting lost in the monitor opposed to actually making the video 🤣... I just like this stuff, too much at times. To be honest I checked all the lofts but not for the vid and the 9 was the only one off.

I know when I got my stealth woods and stealth plus hybrid,P790 irons and hi toe 3 wedges,I went to a local golf shop that has this simulator and spent about 2 hours and hit 6 balls with each club and got my average total and carry distances for each club but also I got the maximum and minimum I can hit each club in total and carry distance for that little bit of extra information for playing on the course,and I also used the same simulator that trottie is using as it was setup in the golf shop I went too and although I was buggered by the end of it,having that information is crucial for quickly looking over before each shot

Great video trottie...after a really short time i called your yardage for every club you hit within 2 yrds because your distances are exactly the same as mine. Not sure what lofts your playing but i use an old set of mp68 mizuno blades with old school traditional lofts so im guessing our lofts are very similar. You look to be very smooth and controlled through the strike same again videos of myself we look like for like tempo wise 👍

@trottiegolf yep exactly the same 31 degrees on my 6 iron.....mine came out in 2011 so slightly stronger than the 90s tour lofted like my tp19 blades I had were really weak....my 68s are about perfect loft wise for me they peak great so soft landings and they allow me to just flight one in if i have to with some extra zip on it. Great content mate keep it coming 👍

It's crazy how short you hit your short irons as far as carry distances are concerned but generate some solid numbers with the longer clubs. I think you just dropped a nugget without intentionally doing it 😉

Carry and total bang on for me & I know the carry number was of high importance to Tiger when he dived into this space with FS. I saw slight differences at higher speed but fractional and who's to say these days which one is the barometer? I can tell you now that from own experience the top top PLYR's in the world are only bothered by carry when preparing for a tournament so that is the #1 marker. Beyond that I liked the interface and the experience and the ease of using the device. How can you ignore a product with so many key players endorsing it? TrackMan is great, I've used it for years but this device is also money. The whole launch monitor space is heating up and it's great to see new devices coming in, I could easily switch to this today and work with anyone..... I might just do that to be fair 🤔

@@trottiegolf I think a lot of it to me is trying to remember that you're 6i is closer in loft to my 7i and very close to something like the stealth 8i loft. You've still got the clubhead speed, the loft is the differentiating factor.

Their is not a SINGLE driving range that I know of that uses balls premium golf balls. ALL RANGE balls SUCK if you are truly trying to o your own gapping. Moreover, range balls are so inconstant in build quality that the yardage they travel are pointless. Lastly, Range balls destroy your groves...specially if you have forged irons or wedges.
