How Far Does $5 Go In Vietnam? 🇻🇳

Vietnam is the 2nd most affordable country to live in! So today I set out to see exactly how far $5 can stretch us. My goal is to get 2 meals, a drink, take transportation, visit an attraction and get a birthday gift for a friend, so let's see if all that is possible.

Agree to disagree. Pho Bac is awesome, the soup is clean and pure, as in its original form; except they don't give you rau (veggies), and no sauces (hoi sin & siracha); and not enough meat from my US standpoint. Pho Nam is too sweet (too much sugar added for me). So I m stuck. Maybe I should open a Pho to combine both.

I would be impressed if you could do a video walking up Van Kiep st in Binh Thanh in the evening, without getting run over. Its just a fantastic food street especially at night. So many options, its crazy.

There was a sponge right next to were you were for the stamp. It would have been nice to add a picture or video of the two maps that are in the post office. One on each side.

You can buy heaps with our dollar. Can buy lunch and a drink in VN for $2-$4 here you need to take out a mortgage and sell off you left testicle.

US audience is much larger and people know the US dollar more than AUD so it makes sense. And the $5usd is about $7.80aud which you can still get a lot with haha
