Im surprised meatballs are still standing strong. I personally prefer bacon and eggs for providing more hunger, health, and spoilage time, but I also think other recipes just eclipse its efficiency. Leafy meat's veggie burger and beefy greens seem generally better late game, omelettes better early, and honey hame being best anytime ither than winter. Each are readily available meals that I think are more efficient.

Bacon and eggs is very overrated. You use 4 meat (2 of them being eggs) to get 20 more hp then meatballs. If you have meat, eggs you may as well make pierogi and get double the health. Otherwise you can just get 1 big or leafy meat and you can make a meaty stew assuming you use 2 small meat and 1 monster. I think getting double the hunger for 1 big meat is very worth it.

@@Retepeter144 Pierogi is only better for healing, and gives rather poor hunger gains. While each playstyle is different, I frequently find myself with excess of monster meat. birds turn our low quality meats like morsels and monster meat into something that works both to top off health and to restore hunger. As for meaty stew, I think its a bit excessive for most characters, and the requirement for three meats, where you cannot use more than two monster meats is often a bit hard to fulfill. On a last note, again, differing playstyles, I prefer to cook a number of meals at once and live off of them for longer periods. Bacon and eggs lasts twice as long as meaty stew, so travel and exploration can be done for longer bouts of time.

I actually like the idea of certain foods being better on their own than ingredients or better raw then cooked because it actually makes you think about your food rather than going in with a Minecraft perspective of cooked = better.

POT THIEF! Also moqueca is really farmable. Way easier to farm than crepes, and have a more well rounded stat refill (112.5 hunger 33 sanity 60 health) making it the dish for any situation. If you farm moqueca, you don't need anything else if you want to survive.

Man this video showed me how far something as simple as food has evolved. It is is honestly surprising how many recipes there are. I always just spam meatballs for most of my time playing so its cool to see the variety.

6:40 I think this is a Mandarin joke because of the hyphen. Ju in EN sounds like ZHU in CN which means “pig” Lian sounds the same in both and in CN means face. Ju-lian is probably a joke that means Pig Face

tall scotch eggs are wayyy underrated. i accidentally based near 4 tall birds recently and have almost unlimited amounts of eggs. 60 health and 150 hunger i use them beside perogies in boss fights and they make a noticeable difference in healing

As a warly main, I can personally say I literally never cook fresh fruit crepes. My friends die way too easily and we always set up a farm. My personal favourite recipes are: Bone soup Vegetable stinger Tall scotch eggs

I think you mixed up breakfast skillet and plain omelette. The recipe for omelette is the one that needs 3x normal eggs whereas the skillet needs egg + 1 veggie

you immediately failed the challenge by starting as wes because only warly can cook all recipes. wes mains go out of their way to be tryhards! you should have done the eyes as soon as possible to take advantage of quick dairy items. nobody cares that you're doing 3 v 1.
