One time when I was at a 9mm range in the Army, I dropped a magazine, already had the new one hand, slid it in perfectly without hitting the entrance to the magwell, and without even pressing the slide release... as soon as the magazine fully seated, the slide rode forward. It was instantaneous almost. Was so proud of the accidental buttery smooth, speed reload for so long.
