3 жыл бұрынI’ve since done more tests and the fastest time I’ve gotten was 6.3 seconds.
Testing my 2019 Dodge Charger GT to see how fast it is 0-60 as well as the top speed. I was surprised but at the same time, not so surprised! My GT is completely stock aside from an exhaust which consists of straight pipe and dual super 10’s! I have plenty more performance mods coming to the channel so you will want to stay tuned to see the difference from then and now!!

Doesnt matter what engine you have in these chargers unless u into drag strip racing, theyre all nice cars, I'd be happy with the v6 charger gt, id buy it for the looks alone get one in grey or green 😍👌

I recently purchased a 2013 dodge charger with 80k miles for $9900. Best value for a first car ever. Since, I've got an e85 tune, cold air intake, and a half inch throttle body spacer. Loving it to the moon and back.

I love my gt. I had a 2010 3.5l for years and told my self there was no way my next car wasn't going to be a newer charger RT..... took the gt for one test drive and I was sold. I'm not a drag racer and this gt can still beat 80% of cars on the road at a stop light race.... plus it looks identical to a rt... plus it's great on gas compared to the v8.

That’s a great time my guy! Lower your tire pressure until you get traction. All the power in the world don’t do a thing unless it sticks to the pavement.. you get traction you could see 6.8 or lower. Try it promise you I done it and got my best time yet . Old drag racer knowledge! You got these💯

Part of your issue is that its 93 degrees outside. Try it when its 60 out and you should hit closer to 6.5 seconds. The pedal commander helps the response like you said, but that won't help your 0-60 unless you are using one foot to launch the car. Meaning right foot goes from brake to gas. It would reduce that time but it does nothing for your actual 0-60.

I love your videos by the way. I did not know if you knew that I don't think that you were in sports mode but I am not sure. Try to get a cold air intake and a tune it will make a difference.

Today, me and my buddy rode in his SXT and we went 136mph. I don't know how fast a SXT is supposed to go but I know that at 136 it didn't go up any higher but that may have been because of the fact that the road we were on was bumpy and there were hills and shit.

Its still slower than the V6 camero because its so mf heavy. The V6 chargers and challengers are the heaviest out of the american “muscle” V6’s and have the least amount of power sadly

On the first launch it said “launch cancelled” another thing the car isn’t being launched properly. Don’t let it spin when you’re holding the gas and brakes. Try to hold the brakes all the way down and slowly press the gas until the sweet spot where the tires down spin.

It was my first time ever launching and i didnt even notice it said that. Ima have to go back and watch it again. And the tired werent spinning while i was on the breaks, they spun right when i let off the brakes but i feel like that road was just super slick lol

I was looking at videos and you should try doing launch control but don’t smash on it immediately, give it some gas for a split second and smash on it. So you don’t spin so hard at first.

Nahhhh man, u gotta get that PEDAL BOX! Too many issues with Pedal Commander. I got the same GT as you and holy hell does it move now in sport + mode! U won’t be disappointed, I was even surprised how easy it is to use and was to install.

Nice video! That tire spin will definitely hurt your times. Try launching at lower rpm. I get 5.8 in my 19 challenger gt with cai.

I got mine down to 5.8 seconds 0-60 with a K&N cold air intake, electronic throttle control, and straight pipe the rear exhaust

I just purchased a challenger 2021 GT AWD and pulled 6.6 sec off the lot 🤷♂️ with no launch control until I pass 500 miles so 6.6 is just me off traction control . Look forward to seeing how your mods work for you

@@ronniesreviews2993 to remove traction controll all the way, pop that thing in sport even though its says it off its not. after you click sport mode click and hold the traction controll button till you see it turn completely off in your center gauge screen it will let you know💯

Get you a throttle controller and engage launch control at 2500 RPMs you'll cut it down quite a bit...my v6 300s gets 5.8 stock with only kn airfilter

I’ve heard using launch control you gotta hold the throttle while continuing to hold the break, together for two to three seconds.The car will pin the engine at your specified rpm until you let off on the break. Prob get under 7 seconds then.

I got a 5.7 and then a 5.6 . The wider tires allowed me to launch at the highest rpms and not loose traction at all so that’s your problem not being able to launch at high rmps bc of traction .

Thats funny. I could easily beat that in the modded 14 ram I had, which btw hung right with a shelby packaged 07 mustang GT(319HP) from an 80 roll to about 115 and actually started reeling him in from about that speed until he let off at 129. And my 15 R/T challenger is quicker than my ram was, and is limited at 145 and is still pulling pretty decent up until it hits it.

I drove a 2020 Challenger GT today and truthfully I was underwhelmed. Having driven both an 8 speed and 6 speed Manual R/T 5.7 previously, I can honestly say the challenger NEEDs the 392 at a minimum. They’re just so incredibly overweight that they are not even remotely fast with anything less than upper 400s hp.

@@emeryk5227 A 2.7 Ecoboost F-150 which weighs only ~600 lbs more than the challenger yet makes 20 more hp and 132 lb-ft of torque more. The torque advantage and 3.73 rear end ratio allow my stock work truck to do 0-60 in 5.7 seconds (Dragy Verified) and 14.1 in the 1/4 mile so far. I think with a perfect run I will see 5.6 and 13.9-14.0. The Challenger GT takes an underwhelming 6.3 seconds and 14.8 seconds respectively. It has similar performance to my 16+ year old Audi A4 1.8t with bolt ons and tune. The Ford Expedition Max XLT (a 5,800 lb family SUV) I tested managed 6.0 seconds from 0-60 for reference.

@@emeryk5227 Yea, but it’s a full size pickup truck with a cab and a half vs a performance coupe. The challenger should have more power is what I’m saying. The likes of Nissan/Infiniti and other manufacturers have no problem squeezing 350 hp out of naturally aspirated V6s.

Weighs as much as a Dodge caravan, has the same motor and transmission as a Dodge caravan plus a drive shaft. A caravan does 7.2 to 60. The Pentastar V6 is a great motor with Tourqe everywhere in the Rev range from idle to red line with the ability to accelerate hard when needed and plenty of power for a comfortable cruise on the hiway plus good reliability. I thought it is a punchy and fun little V6 that still has the grunt for towing and hauling.

Idk if you did the 0-60 with just yourself in the car or if you had a passenger as I see in some parts on the video cause remember more weight will slow you down. I just did a pull 0-60 in 6.5 seconds in just Drive mode. No sport mode no launch control nor manual shifting. All I got is the KN air filter and solo performance exhaust and 275 tires all around idk if that helps with the spinning cause I didn’t spin at all on my most recent pull. This car is not slow nor fast just quick.

Car should be anywhere between 6-7 seconds. Temperature, Elevation and Humidity will all play into this. So a guy in Florida vs a guy in Denver, Colorado for example...are going to have different times

Weird my 13 SXT Blacktop Charger is ungoverned I've had it up to 153 mph and 0-60 in 6.1 seconds. Won a lot of races honestly 5.0 stangs, every dumbass riceburner around ect. I love my 3.6

You haven’t beaten any 5.0 mustang unless it was a 1995 or older model. A 2011+ 5.0 or V6 absolutely destroys the V6 charger.

I have a 2023 GT AWD, and all y’all talking shit don’t understand $2k in parts and ur faster then a R/T. I have my exhaust and cold air intake. And my 0-60 is 5.8 ( supposed to be 6.2 ) and I’ve only put $800 into it so far

Huh my Mercedes 2012 e350 4 matic completes 0-60 in only 5.8 seconds in perfect conditions. I'm sure in perfect conditions the charger could do the same. However the V6 has 300 hp and my Mercedes has 302 so bout' the same. However this has 264 lbs ft of torque vs the Mercedes with 273 lbs ft of torque. Surprisingly the Mercedes had more power and torque with a 3.5 liter V6 versus this has less power and less torque with a 3.6 liter V6. Huh?

Weird my 13 SXT Blacktop Charger is ungoverned and I've had it up to 155 mph. I've won a lot of races with it too. I've beat 5.0 stangs, every dumbass rice burner ect. Love my 3.6 and done 0-60 in 6.1 stock

Stop capping your premier is running on v4 no way in hell you tapping 5.6-5.8 with just 250 HP 😂 my i own a 2015 Chevy impala LTZ v6 305 HP and only tapped 5.9 at best
