I stopped by JJ Customs over the weekend. I drove down from Salt lake to visit my bro in San Fran. JJ Customs was the highlight of my trip. Not quite what I expected but I scored a couple stickers which nobody has where I am from so it was pretty cool. Nice speed test and thanks for the vids. Keep up the good work. Hopefully I’ll see you there next time I am able to drop in

What's always kind of funny is I don't really see too many people with remote control cars anymore but when I took mine out to gojo plaza ppl were stopping and asking questions.

It's a sealed unit by the looks of it and it's had a hard life, I may try that as it'd be good to have as a backup. The new one's pretty good and a little easier to use. Just got to get some fluorescent paint for it now, although I did see some bright green duct tape the other day.

Wow nice speeds what motor and esc are you running in these unit i have stock and got brushless 31mph but its stock plastic spur gear and but metal pinion not brass

There's nothing wrong with plastic spur ..it's just more quite. Metal spur will strip just the same if not properly meshed. ( brass is a no..no) The problem you'll get from plastic spur is heat from the motor transfer to pinon. He might be running high C RATING lipo..on a quick high speed pass for 30 sec. You dont drive.bash like that. it'll get hotter and hotter as you go. The stock motor and 80 A esc (100A brust) will only do so much..gear it up or dumping more juice through it will make it run hotter. Then again..you also might have crappy lipo...

Am I the only one who hates that clear chassis? It just looks cheap. Maybe it's just me.

it's a clear plastic guard on the sides to keep the crud out, they're attached to the all metal chassis, which isn't clear :-)
