@@eahannan Dude, I'm from eastern europe and over here there are still more women teachers than men, it's just the way it is, women want to nurture... the only difference is when I misbehaved in school, my male teachers smacked me upside the head or made me drop and do 20 =)) I guess we're more old fashioned here, even the female teachers treated males different than girls, they had a higher standard for males because they inherently knew men need to be more prepared in life in order to be the head of the household... maybe that's why female teachers in the US undermark male students...

It's his delivery style mostly. It combines two things that don't work well together -- *Stream of Consciousness* and *Pontification* . The target audience needs shows that are cut down from 3 hours and time stamps. Who has time to view a 3 hour RP video? Even if you watch it over a few days, he has a new video out with 3 more hours of content well before you finish the first one. He's very tangential too. In other words, the content is A+, but the delivery has been his rate limiting step. I also think the alg0rithms have been targeting him in order to slow down the growth of his channel.

Sweden here. Most women here chose things like psychology, social studies etc. However in recent years more women have come into stem fields. Now this is purely due to money, I have several friends who aren't interesting one bit in their computer science education but they know it will land them a job, so they're "forced" into it. Most men in these educations just do it because they can't imagine doing anything else.

It’s not an easy field either, there’s a lot to know and it’s complex. I’m a CS major. That’s why it pays well. Easy fields don’t pay as well as harder ones. When I was in college there was many 5% or less women in my program. Most women stay away from stem fields and hence the pay gap they complain about.

Hmm. A lot of chicks, even those the hotter side, go into STEM. When it's something with medicin or bio sth sth it's often even close or more women than men. I am working as an engineer, but none of my female classmates from back then. After a few years, they all moved into fields that have more to do with people. Marketing, service, lower management. There are hardly any women who really want to go beyond the 80% performance because the remaining 20% have a bad cost-benefit ratio. Work-life balance is more important.

@@haraldtopfer5732 that makes sense, most women are naturally sociable so it makes sense they eventually migrate into those types of positions. I work in IT/cyber etc and it’s mostly all men unfortunately. In school there were a few women in computer science but maybe 5/100 students. The pay is great so can’t complain, It’s just harder to meet women in the field or at work. Sometimes it’s possible if the project teams are diverse enough with different backgrounds but it’s uncommon

Worked with them in bigger companies in the 1980's, and it was appalling, their low level of production, administrators and managers absolutely hated Affirmative Action. They had quota's to fill, and some of those quota's were practically dead wood on the payroll, for most black women. Not all, some were quite good, but the unproductive % were more than normal.
