Beastmode , Atomic and Daniel, also known as G2 dominated the RLCS Rocket League Lan to win the major. It was impressive to watch how easy they made it look, but there was a very big reason why.
They used a completely different style, opting more for shadows and control as opposed to the Falcons hard hitting every ball. Beastmode won the MVP and showed world class fundamentals, to which I have never seen before.
In this replay analysis I highlight the main things Beastmode, Atomic and Daniel did to have success over Rw9, TRK and Killeers in RLCS. The cool thing about this style, is you can emulate it with great success in any rank in rocket league, including Grand Champ!

Always appreciate the pro replay analysis. Love your vids. I’m Diamond 2 and been playing casually for years but finally trying to practice and rotate properly…lots of bad habits to overcome. I’ll keep grinding on twitch for now. Ggs.

Really appreciate that, thank you so much! I always say, its often harder to retrain yourself than to do it from scratch, but it sounds like you are aware, which is the most important thing :)

I've seen 3 creators covering this match and only you caught the main issue. I do wonder if G2 was doing something to force Trk to hard clear

Thank you so much! One of the main reasons for this was an attempt to relieve pressure to get boost, but with the 1 forward, 2 back approach from G2, what was happening was bmode was able to take their boosts and the clears where falling into forward moving Dan and Atomic because they were sitting much further back than most players. Wss just an incredible strategy. I actually saw the comms earlier and they said "let's not push this as they are panicking and hitting the ball away".

@@AirChargedGaming I also thing the fast play started to get tyring to do after all those series. So little room for errors at that speed. Needing to keep it up because they rely a bit on outpacing the opponents.

love the video! can we get something on daniel, hee my favorite player and inspiration and he’s one of the most underrated players in the rlcs, daniel was probably top 5 player at that major and opened up so many opportunities for his team mostly beast mode, but he gets overshadowed by beast mode all the time and because of that he doesn’t get nearly enough attention

Thank you for the comment. You are 100% correct, Daniel is an incredible player. I don't think he's underrated though, he has been considered one of the best in the world for the last 3 years it feels like. But yes I can absolutely look into doing more Daniel content :)

Probably still this series but at a faster pace 🙂. Better recoveries and pressure on the other team if you lost the ball. Don't leave your m8 alone in defence and attack. + Keep it simple! Flashy plays are for GC+ and are usually slower in attackspeed if you not that good => Giving time for them to recover

If you wanne get up the ranks fast at that rank: Controlling like this video is great for the long game skill but is slower at the start because you will not be good at control for a while. Again Control is best for the long run! What worked for me was 1 - learn defence and focus on being the main defender at lower ranks. Many tm8s just dont wanne defend at all so that's mostly up to you. 2 - Don't leave your tm8 alone in defence or attack -> If you were attacking and lost the ball and your m8 is far back => Go harass the guy with the ball so he has to do something and loses control or demo if possible. 3 - Follow some RLCS replays and see how they do the things you may be able to do (Basics) 4 - 1vs1
